If you are second guessing if you should do the trip or not don’t because it‘s worth it - We had an amazing time with the group and were also lucky with the weather because everything was great from the beginning to the end. Our Guide Bruno has also been a super cool guide who we could not only talk about facts of the monuments but also have normal conversations which was very funny sometimes. If we could do the trip one more time for the first time we would absolutely do it and we recommend it to everyone visiting Lisbon for the first time

Exploring the Charms of Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca - We recently toured from Lisbon to visit Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca, and it was a highly recommended experience. We start early visiting the gardens of Pena Palace, a beautiful place full of history, followed by a short stop in the charming village of Sintra. Then we explored the magical Quinta da Regaleira, where the Initiatic Well and the palace impressed us. Later, in Cabo da Roca, we enjoyed spectacular views of the cliffs, and ended the day in Cascais with free time to stroll and eat something. The tour was well organized, with a guide, Luis, attentive who shared interesting data throughout, making this visit an ideal way to discover the beauty and history of the region.

Sintra, Pena Palace, Regaleira, Capo de Roca and Cascais tour awesome…and tiring - We were able to be active (15K steps), engaged and involved. The tour group was small(7 persons) which made it pleasant. We appreciated the guide’s information at Regaleira and Cascais. A full day, crammed with beautiful sites and information. We happened into a beautiful weather day as well. Marina Bravo, our guide, was a stellar driver and most interested in making our day special. She succeeded spectacularly!

Amazing day trip to Sintra - We had a trip to Sintra with Cooltours. It was a great experience. Our tour guide Jesus Rui was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained historical facts of all the places which we visited. I will definitely recommend this trip to anyone going to Sintra. I will give 9 out of 10.

Top of the mark Sintra experience - We were group of 10 Filo friends traveling first time to Lisbon from the San Francisco and Chicago. This Sintra tour is a bucket list checkoff we will never forget. Our grateful appreciation to our equally knowledgeable tour guides Daniel and Bruno who explained eloquently and patiently anything and everything there is to know. It seemed like preparing us to be a Lisboa local. Hats off to them and highly recommended these two on your journey and Portugal adventures. Clap 👏

Private tour is the way to go - Our guide, Daniel, was wonderful and knowledgeable about the history of the castle, people, and area. The stop at Peña Palace was enough to see the area and garden. Our tour of Quinta da Regaleira was spectacular especially the Initiation Well. Lunch at a quaint local restaurant in Cascais was delicious but the gelato from Santini’s is a can’t miss.

The best way to see Portugal! - This was the best way for our team to see Portugal / Sintra. I did all the research, read all the reviews to understand the recommendations and pitfalls. A private tour for our group of 5 was the best way to maximize our one day of sightseeing. Leo our tour guide was top notch. The communication, professionalism, and flexibility made this the best day ever! I had read about the difficulties of Uber/Taxi in reaching Sintra, Pena, etc.and heard of colleagues struggling with the drop offs and pickups in this area. Leo knew all the ins and outs of where to park, when to get in line, etc. The history of the sites and local culture he provided was amazing, and why I picked Cool Tours over another company. Leo took pictures of our group (much appreciated) and was flexible to skip Roca on our request when we wanted to spend more time in Sintra. The private tour was the way to go and worth the cost. Remember to bring Euros to tip your guide at the end of the day.
