Lisboa Story Centre - Our journey begins at Restauradores, home to the Obelisk and the renowned Gloria Elevator. We will traverse the historic heart of Lisbon, starting at Rossio, and navigate the narrow, cobblestone streets to reach the city’s highest point, revealing the legendary 7 hills. Along the way, we will encounter numerous landmarks: D. Maria II Theater, D. Pedro IV Statue, Santa Justa Elevator, Rua Augusta Triumphal Arch, St. Anthony’s Church (birthplace and residence of St. Anthony), Lisbon Cathedral, Santa Luzia, and Portas do Sol. At Portas do Sol, we will pause to take in one of the city’s most stunning views, including São Vicente, Alfama (Europe’s second oldest district), and the unique tiles of Santa Luzia Church. Continuing on, we will pass the cobblestone portrait of famed fado singer Amália Rodrigues, Villa Sousa, and Graça Church, culminating at the Nossa Senhora do Monte Viewpoint, the city’s premier vantage point. Additional stops include São Vicente de Fora Church, Feira da Ladra, Church of Santa Engrácia (National Pantheon), Fado Museum, Lisbon’s narrowest street, The Fountain D’El Rei, House of the Beaks, Cristiano Ronaldo Hotel, Largo do Carmo, the Church Ruins, and São Roque Church. We will then proceed to Eduardo VII Park via the Royal Prince, pausing for another breathtaking view and the 25th April Revolution monument. The final leg of our tour takes us to Bethlehem, passing the National Cordoaria, Coach Museum, President’s House, Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Cultural Center, Champalimaud Foundation, Combatant Museum and Memorial, Belem Tower, Standard Discoveries, and the famous Pasteis de Belém. We will also see the Electricity Museum, MAAT, Docks, LX Factory, Oriente Museum, Museum of Ancient Art, Estrela Church, Parliament, Camões Square, Chiado Square, S. Carlos Theater, S. Luiz Theater, and Figueira Square, concluding our tour back at Restauradores.
