Excellent tour with a knowledgeable guide. - This was a lovely trip, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Bruno, was knowledgeable about the history and importance of all of the sites we visited. We had great weather for December and the views were spectacular. We'll worth the price!!

Incredible trip - This was our family’s second tour with Bruno in Portugal, after we’d done the Sintra-Cascais tour. Bruno was an amazing guide once again from being on time and structured, we got to see what we wanted (Óbidos, Nazaré, Mosteiros Batalha and Alcobaça, and Fátima). Many sites to get through with our 10 and 12 year old boys, who can get bored and they loved every minute too! We will always use happy tours for our trips because they offer real value for money, and a connection with places and locals. Thank you for an unforgettable time!

A tour with many stops and the best I’ve taken in a long time. - We could not ask for a better tour and guide. This tour was amazing! We visited all the sites, Bruno was very knowledgeable and friendly, he delivered beyond our expectations. If you are short of time this tour can give you many sites to visit, it does not feel rushed, you will have time for each place and you will have a tour guide that will make it fun, you will not be disappointed, try it.

an unexpected bliss.. - A wonderful and emotionally packed experience. The itinerary was closer to 12 hours than to 10 in the description. The timing was perfect for those who like me is trying to avoid crowds as good as possible and winter solstice day is maybe one of the best for such a goal. Obidos was the first point and was very nice and picturesque in its morning awakening for tourists, with all the Christmas attributes that filled the air. Tasting ginja was also a part of the visit for those who do like it.
Then Nazare with perfect waves was a weather's gift, allowed to see the surfers and just enjoy watching the waves crushing with their characteristic oceanic, full of invinvicible energy grace. The stories surrounding the town, both sacred and not were a nice surrounding for the things seen. In the church part of a visit sacresty is a must for its azules harmonically shaping the overall experience.
The lunch planned close to the shore line, the part that is not windy and almost calm (as for december), so skipping the lunch for personal reasons I had a possibility to spend the time watching the beach and the surroundings.
The next stop was Alcobaca's monastery and here the only thing that was a bit sad for me is the timing - I prefer to move in such a place very slowly, taking a lot of pictures and just letting the thoughts to wander on their own. Obviously there is no chance to stay in the schedule with such an attitude during the group tours. Also some areas are not available to the tourists, so it is rather an kind of looking-around visit. The the real gem of this tour - Batalha's monastery. Here it was enough time to enjoy the architecture as long as needed was available, the unfinished chapels as an unusual "art crown" of this complex brought a real awe, the timing allowed to see the blissful colors of the sunlight passing through the glasses and fascinated me unexpectedly.
The next stop at the souvenir's shop in Fatima for a lot of nice handmades and finally the sacred complex of basilica and the older church was a final part of the itinerary. They are worse to see even for secular people, allowing to learn something about local history, people and so on.
Overall I would say there is no way to do such an itinerary without perfect planning, knowing the details about the objects operational times and so on. Also the explanations that our guide Bruno provided us were an important part of the picture that built the day. I personally was very satisfied about my decision to go with a tour instead of doing it on my own. Maybe the next time I could do it on my own, starting from Leiria and getting back via monasteries path, spending longer times with pictures and thoughts, enjoying the towns on their own; in any case it is not possible to see all worse to seen in even 12h we spent this day.

Inolvidable tour. Loved it. - Óbidos is a charming medieval village not to be missed. Our guide, Nuno, was great, always cheerful, and passionate about history (a great plus, because I love history).
In Nazaré, we saw the famous giant waves and Fort San Miguel, with spectacular views of the Atlantic.
We visited the Monastery of Batalha and the tombs of Peter and Agnes in Alcobaça, a tragic love story that struck me. In the end we went to the Sanctuary of Fatima on a quiet tour. I really wanted to meet him and it was a great success to do it with such a complete tour.
Nuno made the tour very special, took photos and videos customized as we wanted or with good suggestions, and more surprises.
100% recommend Nuno and HAPPY TOURS PORTUGAL. An unforgettable experience!

Greatest tour ever! - One of the best tours of my life!
I've been traveling all around the world and never had a day like this... I came with my family and we would make it all over again since the beggining. All the places we've been and all the stories we heard really got us through this amazing way of knowing so many beautiful places in Portugal. The tour lead us to Óbidos, Nazaré, Batalha, Alcobaça, the Sanctuary of Fátima and the unbelievable paths in between those places.
The restaurant was top great and we had so much fun during all day that I wish everybody should have this experience at least once!
If you're looking for an experience that can put together culture, joy and history, I highly recommend this tour with HAPPY TOURS PORTUGAL. Don't miss it!

An unforgettable walk! - I am a Brazilian in love with Portugal. I don't usually write reviews, but this experience is worth it.
Our guide, Nuno, was exceptional: passionate about history, he enchanted us with his enthusiastic stories.
In Nazaré, we admire the famous giant waves and the Fort de São Miguel, as well as spectacular views of the Atlantic.
Obidos a charm!!
We visited the Battle Monastery and the tombs of Pedro and Inês in Alcobaça, the protagonists of one of Portugal’s most tragic love stories. We ended at the Sanctuary of Fatima, with quiet time to enjoy.
Nuno made the day special with photos, custom videos and the small group. I highly recommend HAPPY TOURS PORTUGAL.
Thank you for an amazing day!
