Comprehensive walking tour of Lisbon. - Jose was extremely knowledgeable about Portugal and Lisbon's history! He helped pull together the information we received from several other tours during our time in Portugal. The tour covered many of Lisbon's neighborhoods. We even went into some buildings. Along with his knowledge, Jose is upbeat, interested in his work and humorous.

Fantastic walking tour with Joana - We had an incredible experience on this walking tour. Our guide, Joana, was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating insights about Lisbon’s culture and heritage. Over the three hours, she took us to some amazing viewpoints with stunning panoramas of the city. One of the highlights was hearing Joana share the history of Portuguese politics and the revolution. Her passion and personal connection to this history (through her parents’ experiences) made the stories even more compelling. Despite Lisbon’s famous hills, we barely broke a sweat thanks to Joana’s clever “hill hacks.” She led us through hidden elevators and well-placed escalators that we’d never have found on our own! The small bites along the way—a pastel de nata and a cod cake—were absolutely delicious. Joana was also happy to stop whenever we needed, whether for a quick toilet break or to soak in the views, and she answered all of our questions in incredible depth. We were a group of seven (our group of four and three others), and the small group size made the experience feel even more personal. This was an unforgettable way to explore Lisbon, and Joana’s expertise and thoughtful touches made it a standout experience.

Great guide/tour - Great pacing, good information with jokes to keep it fun. Just the right length with proper amount of time (10-15min) to explore on our own at some stops.

Good value for $ - I appreciated the extensive and entertaining history of Portugal and Lisbon -- I've been on tours before where the guide was unable to answer questions that weren't covered in his usual spiel, and that was not the case here. This was a good value for $.

Fun & historical! - We had a wonderful three hours with our guide Pedro, who was kind enough to step in as Martin, our assigned guide was sick. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable about Portuguese history and we learned so much. We did walk 11,000 steps but Pedro saved us by taking us up a few elevators and escalators. We got to see several parts of the city and get a feel for different neighborhoods and we also had cod cake and Verde wine, as well as delicious pastel de nata (famous egg custard tart). The value of this tour for your $ is incredible! We had already been in Lisbon two days & got so much out of this tour, even though we went back to a few places. This tour would be even more amazing on day one so that you can get an idea of what places you want to spend more time in, but it’s also wonderful as a standalone. My favorite part was stopping at incredible views high up in the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough!
