Amazing and delicious food tour with gorgeous insider tips! - We had a blast doing the food tour guided by Pedro. I‘ve been in Lisbon already many times before but I got to know lots of more new infos as Pedro also explained us about the history of Portugal/Lisbon in a very detailed and interesting way! The food and drinks at the food stops were delicious and the localities real insider tips! Can highly recommend to do this food tour, it was amazing!

Tasty food in a cultural context. Don’t miss. - Raquel gave us a wonderful view into food culture in Lisbon. The food selections were delicious, all accompanied by historical footnotes. I was surprised by the amount of adult beverages! A very well planned and executed tour. We loved it.

History & Food in One Great Tour - We can highly recommend this food tour of Lisbon. Pedro was such a great guide - not only did he explain to us about the traditional food of Portugal, but also of the history, pointing out and explaining all the cultural elements of the buildings we passed and of the country itself. His English was perfect and his knowledge wide ranging so he could answer our questions on all sorts of topics related to Portugal. His delivery was frequently irreverent with lots of jokes which keep us amused! The places chosen to sample the food were excellent- focusing on small, family businesses which had a strong history in the city. The food was excellent too! At the end Pedro asked us what our favourite food had been - but it was impossible to say.....although the Pastel de Natas were the best we had ever tasted!

Outstanding tour, outstanding tour guide - Daniel was absolutely outstanding. Learned so much about the food, the neighborhoods and culture. He took care of our advance special requests as our group had some food allergies and a few that didn’t drink alcohol. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and culture tour - tl;dr - excellent! The tour, with 8 people in total, covered 6 food and drink stops in 2 areas of Lisbon. Pedro was an outstanding guide. His English was totally fluent, and he displayed an exceptional knowledge of, and passion for, Lisbon. The food/drink stops were well spaced and chosen - we certainly wouldn’t have found 4 of them independently. Each of them were high quality, and overall the tour represented good value for money. At each stop, Pedro gave a brief yet informative commentary/history of what we were about to eat and drink, but what really stands out are the historical and cultural snippets he peppered the tour with as moved between the stops. Pedro was both informative and entertaining - highly recommended. Thank you Pedro!

A yummy time was had by all -- - Food, wine and a great sense of humor were the tasty elements we enjoyed in Daniela’s food tour of different neighborhoods in central Lisbon. From cheese plates to wine pairings, from codfish cakes to dessert cakes, we enjoyed a nice variety of the best that Lisbon shops and cafes had to offer. Daniela gave us history lessons that endeared us to Lisbon and made us laugh at her humorous stories and we all had a good - and scrumptious - time! Daniela is a 5 star Michelin star!

Awesome experience with taste of Lisbon tour - We recently went on the Food and Culture tour with Daniel and highly recommend. This was our first time in Lisbon and it was a great intro to local flavors and history. Daniel’s knowledge of the local food scene, Lisbon history and his passion for music made this a wonderful experience. It was great to see different parts of the city that we may not have discovered on our own. If you go to Lisbon, don’t miss this tour. Thanks, Daniel for a great experience.

Lisbon Roots - We were a group of 7 and all had a fantastic experience on the Lisbon Roots Food and Cultural Tour. We saw areas of Lisbon we'd never have discovered without our guide and returned to several of them later on our own. The food and drink were all lovely and the vegetarians in our group were catered for very well.
