Hop on hop off yellow bus - My experience was better than expected touring with yellow bus. With many of the negative reviews, I feared the worse like not being able to hop back on but to my surprise, my friends and I got back on without any problems. What I like about yellow bus is that you can track the next arriving bus from a QR code on their brochure. The average time is about 30 minutes. At one stop, there was a couple who was refused to board a red bus because it was a different Red bus. Under the circumstances, they pleaded with the yellow bus driver and was allowed to get on the yellow bus. What I also liked included with your ticket are the free ride on the Santa Justa Lift and free rides on the public trams. You'll definitely appreciate these trams when going up hills. Thumbs up for the yellow bus.

Lots of walking up and... - Lots of walking up and down hills. If you have lower extremities arthritis, premedication is a good idea. It was an action packed day! Our guide provided an educational historical overview at each city.

It's Okay - There are 2 companies that run Hop On Hop Off tours, we chose the Yellow Bus. Turns out, maybe, we should have chosen the other. First off, one of the stops (#3 Marques de Pombal) so longer exists but it is still marked on the map. We walked around for a bit looking for it and found the other company, who told us where the next closest stop was. When we made it to the other stop, others waiting told us there are less busses on the Yellow bus than the other company. That being said, we didn't have to wait too long (maybe 15 minutes). Timing seemed to improve later in the day so maybe they add more busses as the day goes on. The stops seem to be in good locations for the areas we wanted to stop at. Busses seemed full but usually enough got off at the stops that we always were able to get on when we wanted to. We decided to walk between stops for a couple of the locations. This, turns out, was not a good idea. The map showing the stops is not easy to navigate, especially since there are no street names. Fortunately, we were able to ask vendors on where the stops were. Beyond the control of the tour company, there was a protest which caused the closure of some of the streets. We were grateful that someone from the tour company came to the stop we were at and led us to the next stop for us to get on. Overall, Yellow Bus is OK and served it's purpose of getting around Lisbon.

Would not recommend. - Was told the tram was not running and then saw it later and people were squeezed in like sardines. Not safe or enjoyable. Bus stops are so far apart we ended up taking taxis in between.

Rough ride disappointing narrative - Narrative was very limited and not up to date. The seats are very uncomfortable. The drivers are very jerky in the movement of the bus and care little about passengers trying to get on and off. Wish the route would include more neighborhoods. Could be so much better.

A scam - I bought the 72 hours pass. I’ve looking for buses or tram to give the service I’d paid for. In the last couple hours “all the buses and tram” are out of service. There’s no warning in the web page and no one from customer service (the people who activates the vouchers) can give any explanations.

BUYERS BE AWARE! TERRIBLE - ***BUYERS BE AWARE*** DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE WE DID. We arrived at the cruise port in Lisbon and a very friendly lady at the desk told us to get these very specific tickets, she said it was the only ones available. We didn't know that she had sold us 2 days tickets, knowing full well that our Disney cruise was only going to be there for the day, in addition she charged us for 3 adults, even though they have teenage pricing and our son is only 15. In addition, the routes they have are long and tedious, you waste so much time and it isn't worth it at all, as the city center is just walking distance and is a beautiful walk and area. Don't waste your money using this bus service.

2nd day no staff or busses at cruise terminal - We chose yellow over red company but sorry. We were in Port two days and bought 2 day ticket. But we We came to counter in Port terminal the second day there was no one at yellow bus counter and no yellow bus. The red and green lines were there. Only op t ion was to walk to the Rosario square 30 minutes up hill. I applied for refund and hope they respond. For now best to choose red line if at cruiseport in lisbon

The Lisbon Yellow Bus SUCKS! - The Lisbon Yellow Bus is horrible. The headsets didn’t work on the tram and the Modern Lisbon route is boring. When the guide wasn’t speaking there was a horrible woman screeching that was supposed to pass as music. The bus doesn’t come to the cruise terminal to pick up passengers, just sell tickets. However they do leave a yellow bus banner so you sit there and wait for the bus for 20 minutes until you walk to the square to pick up the bus yourself. The don’t even leave a map at their kiosk in the port. Definitely buy the red bus tickets.
