• 25 de Abril Bridge - Cross the April 25th Bridge, reminiscent of the Golden Gate Bridge, a grand and picturesque suspension bridge linking the north and south of Lisbon. It was renamed to commemorate the revolution day on April 25th, which ended the Salazar dictatorship in 1974.
• Lagoa de Albufeira Beach - The Albufeira Lagoon is a protected area on the western side of the Setúbal Peninsula. It features a blend of pine trees, stunning beaches, small lagoons (the deepest in Portugal), and birdwatching opportunities. It’s a favored weekend beach spot for locals and is renowned for water sports.
• Cabo Espichel - Stop and admire the magnificent Espichel Cape (Cabo Espichel). This location is the westernmost point of the Sesimbra coast, offering views of towering cliffs. There are several historical buildings here, mainly from the 1700s: a church flanked by two arms of pilgrims’ lodges, a lighthouse, a chapel, and an aqueduct. Espichel Cape was a significant site for pilgrims.
• Castelo de Sesimbra - Visit the Sesimbra Castle (Castelo de Sesimbra), an ancient Moorish castle from the 9th century, standing 200m above sea level. It is remarkably well-preserved, offering unique views over the Atlantic and Sesimbra Bay. Inside, there are two permanent exhibits on its history, a heritage interpretation center, a church, and an old cemetery.

• Convento da Arrabida - Visit Convento da Arrabida (Arrábida Monastery), founded in 1542 by Friar Martinho de Santa Maria, a Castilian Franciscan. This surprising structure is completely isolated in the mountain.
