Oscar, our tour guide and... - Oscar, our tour guide and our bus driver did everything they could do to make sure we saw as many animals and reptiles as possible. We saw sloths, iguanas, toucans, all kinds of monkeys and more! Our boat ride was the highlight of our trip. Couldn’t ask for more gracious people to show us their beautiful country!

Great Alternative Tour from Ship - Our 3 plus 2 others. Great group size with plenty of room in car and boat. Manuel maximized the tour to complete our animal list, stopping on roadside when he spotted animals. And sourcing great street food. His car was very clean with cooler of cold drinks. Was also amazed by our boatman’s eyesight. Definitely recommend.

Cahuita National Park - We thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Our guide Roxanne was very knowledgeable about the history of Costa Rica as well as the many animals, birds, and plants we saw. She was flexible to the desires of the group and was willing to work in the opportunity to have an authentic lunch. We saw many animals up close. Awesome excursion!

A great tour and highly recommend Steven as a guide. - Steven was an excellent t our guide who really made this a great trip. He kept us entertained throughout the day Nd time passed so quickly. The weather wasn’t on our side and we got caught by some heavy rain in Cahuita. I’d recommend taking some good waterproof shoes as well as raincoat and umbrella. We got to see lots of wildlife including a few sloths, monkeys and a snake. Take a good camera. Overall a great trip and well worth the money.

Sloth Safari and More - We really enjoyed our guide, Oscar, and the driver, Giovanni. They were great to find sloths for us along the way. We saw several two toed sloths, and one three toed sloth from the side of the road. Oscar was delightful and Giovanni has eagle eyes. Then on the canal trip, we saw another sloth, as well as many holler monkeys, various birds, iguanas, a caiman’s head, and a small crocodile. It was fun to ride along the canal. The rain forest park was interesting though we didn’t see as many animals as we had hoped. It was cool to be in a rain forest. We also learned about banana farming and that was interesting. We Appreciated that Oscar and Giovanni stopped by the supermarket so we could buy Costa Rican coffee and snacks. Super great hosts.

I guess when I thought of... - I guess when I thought of a rainforest and the canal, I didn’t consider the locations. The canal runs beside a road and I thought it would be more interior. Our God was excellent, but I was disappointed in the location. We did see some wildlife and you don’t have any control over that. The rainforest walk was along a beach in a public park. I again was expecting something more interior and more wild although we did see several wild monkeys! We saw a yellow eyelash, viper curled up in the tree. It was just odd seeing people in bathing suits walking along the path. Just not what I expected, but still the guide was excellent.
