Great experience - Great experience with Yiyi and Nicole. We were lucky with the sloths and had a great time on the channels and experiences along the way.

An amazing adventure - We recently took a vacation to Costa Rica. One of the adventures was an amazing tour from Syl Travel. Our tour guide named “Risheylin” was super sweet, and very knowledgeable about her country. The tour took us through the jungle, where we tried local Caco (The plant where chocolate comes from), and other local eats and drinks. Part of the tour also included a river cruise, a forest adventure, and more. Risheylin was so upbeat it made our adventure even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Syl Travel and ask for Risheylin.

Enjoyable day trip not to be missed - The driver, Alexander, and the guide, Christ, were both excellent. They were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. We felt that they treated us like their friends and not just ordinary guests. The itinerary was attractive. We enjoyed our ride on the canal as we spotted some birds and a baby crocodile. The walk in the country park was very good too. On top, Christ was energetic and friendly. All in all, this was a tour not to be missed!

A Fun Day in Rural Limon - We really enjoyed our small group tour with Risheylin and Gato. They picked four of us up from the port. It was very easy to spot them in their red shirts. Their comfy airconditioned van was right there. After WiFi codes and introductions we were off to the Tortuguero canals. We saw, sloths, monkeys, caymans and birds. We then made a couple of stops to see a plantation with many tropical trees and fruits. It was a nice drive through the country with a couple of shopping opportunities. Cahuita National park was a lovely nature hike right next to the beach. There were monkeys and sloths all over the place. We also saw a very photogenic pizote and a baby cayman. The guides were super friendly and answered all of our questions. Just FYI the hike is on an even trail covered by trees and the boat ride is also covered. There is not much sun exposure and the walking is not strenuous. I got to add a Montezuma Oropendola to my birding list thanks to gato.

5 stars for this tour! - This tour far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guides Risheylin and Yiyi were fantastic! They picked us up promptly at the pier. Our van had comfortable bucket seats, AC, and WiFi ! From the beginning they asked us what we would like to see in our tour and they did their best to make it happen. We were able to see two different types of sloths at the river and at the forest. We also saw alligators, different bird species, iguanas, and many mischievous monkeys! Our tour guides even made extra efforts for us to enjoy our tour by stopping in places we wanted pictures of along the way. They were extremely accommodating throughout our tour. They were knowledgeable and so fun to be with. If you book this tour make sure you ask for Risheylin as your guide!

A Day of Contracts in Costa Rica - 🚤 **Canal Ride: A Mixed Bag:** Our canal ride was a blend of anticipation and disappointment. The vast waterway promised glimpses of wildlife, but reality fell short. The creatures—**elusive howler monkeys, sloths, caimans, and crocodiles**—remained hidden in the dense foliage. Our guide, armed with a laser pointer, strained to point out distant shapes perched high in the trees or lurking beneath the water's surface. It felt like a game of "spot the invisible." 🍍 **Fruit Stand Delight:** The second stop—a vibrant fruit stand— Here, we tasted tropical delights, including the **juiciest pineapple in Costa Rica**. Our guide, introduced us to the **Liberica Coffee bush, sugar cane, mango trees, and the enigmatic Cacao tree**. I 🌿Cahuita National Park: A Humid Odyssey:** Next up was the **Cahuita National Park**. The jungle trail included—a 2-kilometer trek through a secondary forest. The landscape was lush and mysterious. But the heat and humidity clung to us like a second skin. Wildlife sightings remained elusive, despite our best efforts. The hike felt endless, yet the promise of discovery kept us going. 🍌🍫 **Banana and Chocolate Plantation: A Fascinating Tale:** . We learned how they nurtured bananas—their history intertwined with Costa Rica's. The cacao trees whispered tales of ancient rituals and indulgent chocolate. It was a journey through time. ☀️ **Overall Verdict: A Hot and Humid Adventure:** Despite the weather's relentless embrace, this tour was a mosaic of experiences. The wildlife remained elusive, but the moments of discovery—the pineapple's sweetness, the jungle's secrets, and the banana's legacy—made it worthwhile. The heat wasn't the tour's fault; it was nature's fiery reminder that adventure comes with its challenges.

Unsatisfactory and overpriced - We had a tour for €114 per person. We were picked up from the hotel in a taxi and that was also our tour guide for the day. Everything that was promised to us in such detail in the description didn't quite turn out to be true. 1 stop was a souvenir shop to buy things. 2nd stop was the drive through Puerto Limon, with the church on the right, the school on the left, and the harbor. Everything as we drove through. The boat tour through the river was just a 500m back and forth to find animals. Then the national park hike, which we could have done on our own, as we found most of the animals ourselves. Our "guide" just went with us. No banana plantation, as promised in the description. All in all, far too overpriced for what was offered. Better to drive to the places on your own.
