The journey will begin in the districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, two historically rich neighbourhoods that have evolved into upscale urban zones on account of their business, tourism and financial attributes. Explore El Olivar de San Isidro, a former colonial estate where olive trees were cultivated. Next, you’ll head to the artistic district of Barranco, the traditional abode of Peru’s most eminent artists, and pay a visit to the Pedro de Osma Museum. This museum was once the dwelling of the De Osma family, who hailed from Spain and migrated to Peru in the early 19th century. The museum, with its towering windows, intricate columns, lush gardens and ornate sculptures, is considered one of the grandest erstwhile summer palaces of the bourgeois Lima of yore.
