Camila is a great teacher! - If you're in Peru and looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, Camila's cooking class is an absolute must! She is hands down the best teacher ever—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. We had the pleasure of learning to cook authentic Peruvian dishes, including an amazing shredded chicken and potato dish (not to mention a flavorful guacamole), a fantastic ceviche that tasted like it was straight from the coast, and the perfect Pisco Sour to top it all off. Every step of the way, Camila guided us with expertise and made the experience fun and engaging. As a bonus, you leave the class with not just new skills and recipes but also a certificate and a free shaker to continue making Pisco Sours at home. It's a wonderful touch that makes the whole experience even more memorable. We highly recommend Camila’s class to anyone visiting Peru—it’s a true highlight and a great way to immerse yourself in the culture. Don't miss out!!!

Worth every penny! - Camila is an excellent guide! We went to the local market sampled a lot of local fruits, while I also learnt a lot about Peruvian culture. Warning: It could be a little graphic, with meat just hanging outside stores.
The cooking class is hands down a must do if you truly want an immersive Peruvian experience. It was fun listening to Camila tell us the story behind each dish we made (Cuasa, Pisca Sour, Ceviche). The mixer with which we made the Pisca Sour was a souvenir we could take home, which I thought was nice.
Overall, I would highly recommend it.

An amazing Peruvian cooking experience - This cooking class was beyond our expectations!
The staff was amazing. Special mention to Giuliano. It was not only the most fun activity but also very informative.
The Peruvian recipes were wonderful too. We got to cook ( and eat) chicken causa, pisco sour 🍸and the yummiest ceviche.
10/10

Our wonderful first Peruvian cooking class!! - Hey there!!! We had our market tour with Camilla, and then our cooking class with Giuliano!
The market tour was absolutely amazing!! Camilla, gave us tons of information on the markets, and how to select ripe fruits, she would explain relevant food history points, and compare certain fruits/veggies so we could place them and understand what would taste similar. We also were able to try a few fruits aswell such as the Platano de la Isla, Guandavana and tuna (the fruit not the fish! lol) all of which were delicious!!
Giuliano’s cooking class was awesome sauce as well! (To all you Vegetarians out there - no stress there was someone in our class and they gave out an alternative) We started off with learning how to make a causa, then a pisco sour and finished off with an amazing Maji Maji Ceviche with some Aji Lima and Aji rocoto, he also explained relevant history points, and the “origine story” of each piece! Was super informative and really interesting and engaging! My wife and I will definitely never forget this experience!! :)
Loved it!! Will definitely book again next time were in Peru again hopefully it’ll be for other food items! :)

Amazing experience and fun activity to do when in Lima - We had an amazing time with my husband taking the tour for the Peruvian market as well as learning how to do some traditional Peruvian plates! Camila was amazing and super knowledgeable about the market and took us for a walk from the market to the restaurant, where Giuliano took it out of the park teaching us how do causa, pisco sours and ceviche! They where both personal and super fun to be around, definitely recommend this class and tour to any one who is staying in Lima!

Great cooking and experience - I was meant to do the market tour and couponing class. Our guide Camila picked me up and we travelled by taxi to the market, which was closed. This was not her fault as apparently she has been assured they would be opened.
We then returned to where the class was to be held and I walked back to my accommodation until the class was due to start in an hour and a half.
While I appreciated that Camila did not know that the market was closed I feel as though this wasted my time.
The cooking class as a whole was great. We learned how to make two typical dishes as well as a pisco sour. They were all delicious and Camila was happy to answer any questions along the way and ensured she added her own flavour to the class to make sure it was fun for all those participating

Absolutely Recommended Activity - We started with the market tour first. Camilla picked us up and went to the market with us. She told us about the whole market, fruits, veggies etc. We were able to taste fruits as well and even a tasty juice. It was really lovely! Afterwards we had the cooking class with Giuliano. He was a wonderful chef and teacher. Going to try to make the ceviche at home.
