Paracas - Huacachina

Islas Ballestas - At 8:00 AM, hop on a fast, open-air speedboat and cruise across the Pacific to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as Peru’s Galápagos. Along the way, admire the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, etched into the desert hillside. As you circle the islands, you’ll be surrounded by sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans, and possibly even dolphins - all in their natural habitat. Don’t forget your camera - this is one of Peru’s top nature spectacles.

Paracas National Reserve - From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, explore the Paracas National Reserve, where towering cliffs, colorful beaches, and surreal desert landscapes meet the roaring sea. Your guide will explain the ecological and cultural significance of this vast protected area - home to thousands of bird species and marine life. Upgrade to a guided quad bike (ATV) adventure across the dunes - ask your guide to arrange it on the spot.

Paracas - Depart Paracas around 12:30 PM and head inland to Huacachina, the only natural desert oasis in South America. Arrive by 2:00 PM and take some time to settle in, explore the palm-lined lagoon, or enjoy lunch at one of the open-air cafés overlooking the water.

Huacachina - At 4:30 PM, experience the adrenaline highlight of the trip. Buckle up in a high-powered dune buggy and race across the towering sand dunes like a rollercoaster in the desert. Then, grab a board and learn to sandboard down these massive slopes - whether standing, sitting, or even belly-down. Sunset over the dunes paints the sky in golds and pinks for that perfect Instagram moment.
