Very interesting - Very interesting and informative. If you are interested in something a little different take this tour. Renzo was the best tour guide. He took his time explaining everything. I listened to a couple of other tour guides and they left out all the best parts. Juan was also a great driver and very efficient getting us around the city.

Insightful and sometimes spooky! - Marco was our tour guide and he was fantastic. Really knowledgeable about many things, even outside of the funeral industry in Lima. Looking into the death of a culture can tell you a lot about how life is lived there. We talked a lot about the practicalities of burial but we also talked spooky stuff too. Highly recommend this tour.

Very interesting!! - The history of the Franciscans and their installations is very interesting (although I don't agree with so much wealth) but the show is the catacombs with the bones and anti-earthquake structure... and the belief of the grantees...

Renzo was a great guide.... - Renzo was a great guide. He explained things very well, and clued us in on some secrets about the monastery above the catacombs that was really interesting.

Must do if looking for a UNIQUE history filled experience! - This tour is a MUST do if you are interested in checking out the Catacombs AND the largest cemetery in the America's! I had previously did a catacombs tour that was included as part of a city tour and it just seemed rushed! I really appreciated the extra time taken by my tour guide Jean who made sure I had all the history and answered any additional questions I had! I learned soooo much in the short time we were in the catacombs! Since it was a private tour, I elected to spend more time at the cemetery and I was def worth it!! I was AMAZED and also learned a LOT from this portion of the tour! I really liked that the vehicle was air conditioned, door pickup, the history lesson while on the way to the locations AND the Peruvian Churro as a snack! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lima that wants to do something a little less traditional! What a unique experience!

Great tour! - The catacombs were great, but I really enjoyed the cemetery more. I’ve never been to a cemetery this large covering 220 hectares, with 32 presidents and 292 soldiers interred here. The crypts and mausoleums were so interesting and massive! My guide, Sofia, was fantastic too! She has excellent English and is extremely well-informed. I really enjoyed this tour!
