• Lima - Pick-up from Cruise Terminal Lima, International Airport Lima, or your hotel. Our tour leader will meet you with private transport from your location in Lima City. The full-day itinerary begins around 9 am with a drive to Old Lima’s colonial town city center. Here, we will visit notable buildings and attractions such as San Martin Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, the City Hall, the Desamparado train station, and Lima’s first bar, Cordano Bar. We will then enter the Saint Francis Convent museum, which houses the largest collection of religious art in America and features subterranean crypts known as The Catacombs, evoking Lima’s colonial past. Next, we will stop in San Isidro to visit the Olive Grove Park before continuing to Miraflores, the largest tourist district. In Miraflores, we can walk around Love’s Park and enjoy a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. We will then proceed to Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological site built in the 4th century A.D., for a panoramic view. Lunch will be at a recommended tourist restaurant in Miraflores. After lunch, we will head directly to the Pachacamac Ruins, a sacred and ceremonial temple considered the mystical axis of the world from the beginning of the Christian period.
• Pachacamac - Pachacamac was the main pre-Hispanic ceremonial center in the Americas, known for the consulting oracle of Pachacamac, “The Lord of the World.” The temple complex, built of mud bricks, includes various temples such as the Adobitos Temple, the Temple with Ramp, Taurichumbi Palace, Pachacamac Palace, the Temple of the Sun, the Pilgrimage Square, and Acllahuasi. You will have some free time to take photos before we return to your hotel, the International Airport, or the Cruise terminal of Lima, marking the end of our service.
