Lijiang - The driver and guide will meet guests at the hotel lobby at 08:30 am to transfer to Tiger Leaping Gorge, a 2-hour drive covering 80KM.
Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) - After purchasing the entrance ticket, the driver will take visitors to the gorge. A hiking tour to the upper part of the Tiger Leaping Gorge will commence. A 15-20 minute walk along the plank road leads to the viewing platform on the valley floor. The Jinsha River’s strong currents roar through the narrow valley, with waves crashing against the rocks. Cameras should be ready to capture this breathtaking view. At the narrowest point, a giant rock, 13 meters (43 feet) high, sits in the middle of the river, splitting the torrents into two branches. The surging waves crash against the rock with a tremendous roar. A special viewing platform is available for visitors to fully appreciate this impressive scenery and take pictures. Visitors will have 1.5-2 hours to enjoy the stunning scenery of the gorge before returning to the parking lot.
Black Dragon Pond Park - Afterward, a private car will take visitors to Black Dragon Pond Park, where a panoramic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain can be enjoyed. This park is a landmark of Lijiang. The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China due to its exquisite beauty. Its surroundings are lush with grass and shaded by swaying willow trees. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is reflected in its waters. At the far side of the pool, there are renovated buildings used for art exhibitions, such as the Moon-Embracing Pavilion with its own white marble bridge across the water, and the Five-Phoenix Temple built during the Ming Dynasty.
Baisha Ancient Town - Next, visitors will go to Baisha village, where they can see the Dongba pictograms, the mural paintings in Dabaoji Palace, and the ‘ten thousand camellia blossoms’ tree, among other attractions. Baisha means ‘white sands’. The town was the first settlement of the Naxi people after they migrated south from the Tibetan plateau. It was once the political, commercial, and cultural center of the powerful, yet mysterious, Naxi Kingdom. The region became part of the Yuan Empire in the late thirteenth century. The Mu family, which administered Lijiang from the late fourteenth to the early eighteenth century, had its birthplace in Baisha. The area also played a significant role in the strategic commercial network known as the Tea Horse Road.
Shuhe Ancient Town - After lunch, visitors will enjoy a leisurely walk in Shuhe Ancient Town. Shuhe, or ‘Shaowu’ in the Naxi language, means the village at the foot of the high mountain. In the past, a high mountain named Jubao was behind the village, hence the name. Shuhe Ancient Town is located 4km northwest of Lijiang Ancient Town. Its central part covers an area of about 5 square kilometers with a population of around 3,000. In 1997, Shuhe was recognized as an important part of Lijiang Ancient Town, which was already a World Cultural Heritage site named by UNESCO.
Lijiang - At the end of the day, the driver will escort guests back to their hotel.
Lijiang–Shaxi. O/N Shaxi.
Lijiang - Before driving to Shaxi ancient town, visitors will visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is a 40-minute car ride from Lijiang central.
Yulong (Jade Dragon) Mountain - Visitors may choose to visit the Snow Mountain with the cable car to Spruce Meadow first or visit White Water River first, depending on the Impression Lijiang Show, as the show time varies based on the daily number of visitors from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and the show lasts for 60 minutes. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is easily accessible via a system of cable cars that take visitors to different parts of the mountain. The 13 peaks, home to several glaciers, are covered in snow year-round. Different altitudes offer changing landscapes, with peaceful meadows giving way to snow-covered paths and glaciers. The choice to visit Spruce Meadow with the cable car is due to its lower altitude (3300M) and fewer visitors than the way to Glacier Park, along with the beautiful view.
Lijiang Impressions Show - Next, visitors will attend the Lijiang Impression show. This outdoor performance, featuring traditional songs and dances by local ethnic people selected from the villages around Lijiang, is held at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, just outside the main building, at pre-determined times.
Blue Moon Valley - Afterward, a private car will take visitors to White Water River (Blue Moon Valley). The Blue Moon Valley is an extremely blue river meandering through a lush valley of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Seen from a distance, it resembles a blue crescent moon inlaid at the foot of the mountain, hence its beautiful name. However, blue is not the only color of the river. If it rains, the white mud and limestone rubble at the riverbed will be swirled up, making the water as white as milk. Therefore, local Naxi people call it White Water River (Baishui River).
Yunnan Shaxi Ancient Town - After lunch, visitors will drive to Shaxi ancient town, a 120-minute ride covering 100km. Shaxi is located between Lijiang and Dali and was once a booming bazaar along the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. Most of the primitive dwelling complex is well preserved, including temples, opera stages, stone bridges, shops, inns, and tea houses. Although the town may convey a sense of vicissitudes, its flourishing and prosperous past can still be traced.

These residences generally have carved beams, turned-up eaves, and splendid green, gold, blue, and white paint.
Xizhou is a very quiet and uncrowded town. It has preserved itself from mass tourism, allowing visitors to observe real local life, especially around the main square where families gather and children play until after dark. Guests can sit in a restaurant or cafe around the square, enjoy some fresh local beer, and watch the life around them.
Chongsheng Three Pagodas - Next, visitors will go to the Three Pagodas, which face Erhai Lake. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple of Dali form a tripartite confrontation with a large pagoda and two smaller ones. As one of the oldest and most magnificent architectures standing gracefully and forcefully in South China, it is a famed place of interest and a symbol of the ancient history and culture of Yunnan Province. Built amid the previous Chongsheng Temple by the Nanzhao Kingdom, a local regime of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the three pagodas were named after the temple. Though the temple was damaged in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the three pagodas were preserved after numerous natural disasters and manmade incidents. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were designated as an important heritage site protected under the state in 1961 and inscribed as an AAAAA grade scenic area in 2011.

Huangguoshu Water Falls - The Huangguoshu Waterfall, a milky way in miniature, is the largest waterfall in Asia. Seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is a scenic marvel. It is a must-see if visiting Guizhou Province. There are mainly three National Parks in this waterfall national park: Waterfalls Cluster, Water-Curtain Cave, and Rhinoceros Pool (Xi Niu Tan). Visitors first go to the Waterfall-Viewing Pavilion (Guan Pu Ting), where they can see the panorama of the whole waterfall. Then, seen from Water-Viewing Pavilion (Wang Shui Ting), they can view the grand scene of surging water. The third one is the Water-Viewing Pavilion (Wang Shui Ting) beside the Rhinoceros Pool. Guiyang–Zhaoxing. O/N Zhaoxing.
Guiyang - The guide will pick up guests at the hotel lobby around 08:00 in the morning. They will be escorted to the well-known Qingyan old town, a 60-minute ride.
Qingyan Ancient Town - Qingyan Ancient Town was established in 1378 by Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming dynasty (1368–1644). Initially, Qingyan was a post station, an important link on the ancient post route from Guangxi to Guizhou. Government documents and military intelligence were sent to and from the station. Later, an army was based there and built up the settlement as a garrison.
Today, the town covers an area of 3 square kilometers. It retains much of its original layout and many of its ancient buildings, from the Qing (1644–1912) and even the Ming dynasty. Visitors can see well-preserved stone-slab lanes, archways, watchtowers, and battlements. The town was originally built of stone. Fantastic stone walls still remain, with gates facing north, south, east, and west. There were originally eight stone tablets outside the gates, and three of these remain today, each with intricate sculptures.
Many other historical relics survive. Among its 37 tourist attractions are 9 temples, 8 shrines, 5 pavilions, 3 caves, 2 ancestral halls, 1 palace, and 1 academy. There are also 3 ancient archways. Most of these ancient buildings are exquisitely carved with terrapins, dragons, and other traditional Chinese patterns. Less exquisite but still of interest are the remains of a Catholic and a Protestant church. The Protestant church is still in use.

The Zhaoxing Dong Village, located in Liping County, southeast of Guizhou Province, is one of the largest Dong Villages in the Qiandongnan area in Guizhou. Xiaohuang Village - Next, visitors will go to Yintan Dong village, a one-hour drive. This village is similar to Xiaohuang village. The Yintan Dong village, about twenty kilometers away from Congjiang, is one of the most representative Dong villages in Guizhou for its Dong buildings and daily life of this minority. Although the houses are fairly recent (50-100 years ago), the rules for the Dong buildings have been met. Taking a good look at the natural environment of the village, the houses, the drum towers, and the pavilions, they are completely different from those in the West! The drum tower of the village soars to 21 feet high in the center of the village. Wherever one is, one cannot miss the center of Yintan. Travelers have the feeling of being immersed in time amidst extremely well-preserved buildings.
Kaili - At the end of the day, the guide will escort guests to their hotel.
Kaili–Zhenyuan. O/N Zhenyuan.

The Langde village is 30 km away from Kaili. Surrounded by green mountains, Langde Village is situated beside a crystal-clear stream. Visitors have to drink “block-the-way” wine upon arrival (a local custom for welcoming guests). Twelve tables are placed in the middle of the path from the highroad to the gate of the village. Then, visitors can explore the traditional Miao-style stilt houses and enjoy sweet Miao folk songs. After that, they can have a free walk on the roads and courtyards in the village paved with cobbles or bluestone.
Xijiang Miao Nationality Village - Xijiang Miao village is very commercial now, but still has something to see. Xijiang Miao Village is the largest Miao village in China and even in the world. For everyone else, one of the main appeals of visiting Fanjingshan is the stunning views from the summit.
Mushroom Stone is the landmark of Fanjingshan. Big on the top and small at the bottom, it is vividly formed like a mushroom. For more than one billion years, it has been standing there still and hit by the rainstorms, summer heat, and winter snow year after year, which is the essence of what Buddhism says about “Remain unbiased” in every circumstance.
Old Golden Summit, with an elevation of 2,494 meters, is the highest scenic site of Fanjingshan. On the top of Old Golden Summit is a temple dedicated to Buddha Dipamkara, which is also the best place to take some panoramic photos of Fanjingshan.
Cheng En Temple, located between the two summits with scarlet walls and black tiles, is the main building of Fanjingshan Temple Group and one of the four Royal temples in Fanjingshan, which was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368AD-1644AD).
Mountain Fanjing–Fenghuang. O/N Fenghuang.
