Amazing time - I had an amazing time and glad I went. At first I was apprehensive because I didn’t want to do zip lining nor did I want to do the waterfall slide in the forest however, when I got there and in part the persuasion by my friend. ,I did it and it was the best experience ever I did all the activities, including horseback riding the Hot Springs and my mud bath. I also enjoyed (although wasn’t in the description for our package), the cultural tour in which we learned about their sugarcane and coffee cultivation and their clay making display. That was also a very nice add-on. I will be remiss, if I didn’t mention the food. . I’m a vegan so I thought that I wouldn’t have much options, but there were options to eat and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this experience.

A great hike with lots to see! - Johnny was our guide and he was outstanding. He stopped along the way to point out wildlife and was very knowledgeable. One of the coolest things about this hike is you go thru both wet and dry Forrests. It’s a well maintained path but lots of stairs so if you have bad knees it might be tough

Great way to see several aspects of the Park. - Our guide Chris was a wealth of knowledge about all the plants and animals in the Park. Lots we would have missed on the self guided option.

Excellent Experience - We were a group of 9 people ages 7 and up. Everyone loved it, our tour guide was amazing, lunch was delicious and the hot springs were a great way to end the day. Wear shoes that can get wet and towels are provided at the springs.

Our 5th anniversary! Pura vida - We enjoyed the hike, our guide gave us a lot of history and information on the forest and its animals. He was able to locate a bunch of spider monkeys swinging through the forest which was amazing! The waterfall was beautiful and very cold and yet somehow that didn’t matter because of how beautiful it was. Th emus baths were very relaxing and made our skin so soft that we put it on twice. We Al so enjoyed the lunch buffet that was provided.

Glad we went. - National park tour Guide Johnny was great. Adapted tour for family (senior, two teens, two adults). Lots of walking but all doable. Some uneven ground. Loved seeing the waterfalls in the park. Water was flowing too fast to swim but view was amazing. Lunch was good. On the poorer side, some confusion about transportation from adventure centre to hike site. Had to buy national park entrance online (couldn’t pay cash - so be sure to factor in that cost). Didn’t make it to the hot springs due to transportation challenges, wet weather, tired family and running out of time. Definitely more than five hours worth so plan a fuller day.

Mosquitos and No-See-Ums - The hot springs are clean and well managed. We had two people in our group who are VERY sensitive to mosquitos and no-see-ums and unfortunately they got bit by bugs VERY badly! Obviously, you do not want to wear Deet in a natural hot springs and you are sitting in the middle of a jungle, so there will be bugs. Just be forewarned, the bugs are bad. They provided towels and locker keys for belongings. It is a short walk through the jungle, over a suspension bridge and down some stairs to get to the hot springs. It is for able bodied people only.

Varied, worth seeing tour, but only with a good guide - The tour itself was actually very varied. Horseback riding to the national park, hiking in the volcanic area with bubbling water and mud holes, then to the waterfall and finally to the hot springs. There were only two of us on the tour, with Brayan, who didn't speak or understand any English other than "wait", right and left and so he trudged along more or less listlessly without any explanations, mostly busy with his cell phone. The tour description didn't make it clear that entry to the park was not included and that there was no lunch included and there was no opportunity to buy anything other than chips (and that was only at the end at the springs). Especially because the combination tours have a big advertisement saying "Free lunch included"... but probably not on ours.

Gave up - Very confusing and frustrating. We were late due to the silly wristband and went on a goose chase to get it. Didn't go on the hike and everyone in the group was hungry and tired.
