• Liberia - Upon locating the guide adjacent to the church, with the entire group assembled, the guide will conduct a brief orientation detailing the day’s agenda and the sights you will encounter over the ensuing hour. This will commence with an overview of the city’s history, followed by a tour of its most iconic structures and locales.
• Finca La Carreta - The Rivera family has been stewarding La Carreta farm for a century, cultivating a variety of produce including chicken eggs, hay, corn, coconuts, and a selection of seasonal fruits like sapodilla, bananas, papayas, as well as various culinary herbs, decorative trees, and livestock.

Costa Rica is full of history, traditions, beautiful countryside landscapes, delicious seasonal fruits, colorful flowers, and hard-working people. During this tour, come to discover the real deal of Costa Rica’s countryside while we visit some of the more distinguished places of Liberia and hear the history of it. After the city tour, we’ll drive 15 minutes to La Carreta farm, for the tree planting where you will enjoy first some seasonal fruits like pinneapple, watermelons and bananas. Then a short walk around the farm to show you the animals and how we take care of each of them until we finally arrive to the designated place for the tree planting. Trees can make areas cooler, absorve co2 and produce oxygen. Our plan is to plant 1000 trees by 2030. There is also a nice 360° viewpoint in the farm, optional to visit.
It takes about 22 trees to produce enough oxygen for 1 person a day. Let’s mitigate our carbone footprint!.
