The mountains within the park form part of the renowned 12 Bens mountain range.
Entry to the park doesn’t cost a penny. Visit our visitor center where you can enjoy an entrancing exhibit about the Connemara landscape. Choose from an assortment of safe and straightforward trail options fit for the whole family, or select from more demanding paths and trails for seasoned walkers, which range from 0.5kms to 5kms in length.
Experience the globally acclaimed Connemara pony. Our bird populace is assorted, featuring Meadow pipits, skylarks, stonechats, chaffinches, robins, and wrens. You might even get to spot birds of prey and wild red deer on occasions.
Enjoy your midday meal at the Tea Room located within the park, offering a scrumptious soup of the day paired with handmade brown bread, a fresh sandwich (plain or toasted) with two fillings of your preference, and the choice of tea or coffee followed by chocolate.
