• Lethe - What To Expect Travelers will enjoy an authentic Jamaican rafting experience, including a limestone foot massage. A full body massage is available at an additional cost. Guests will interact with locals and learn about the area’s history. The guided tour down The Great River on a 30-foot bamboo raft accommodates up to 2 people. The Great River is a primary water source for Montego Bay and surrounding communities. You’ll learn about healing herbs, ferns, and local culture. Jelly coconut and sugar cane will be available for tasting. Local cuisine is offered at a nearby cook shop (hole in the wall) for an additional cost, with a menu typically featuring curried goat, pork, fried, curried, brown stew chicken, and oxtails. The rafting experience lasts 60-90 minutes, but groups opting for multiple full body massages can expect a longer duration of 90-120 minutes. All rafting trips conclude at the starting point, except in cases of high river conditions.
