Highly recommended tour guide - Daniel provided a lovely 2-hour tour of Ålesund, taking in the Art Nouveau architecture, town history, and local culture. It helped that it was a sunny day, so we were able to get great pictures. We had been in town for a few days already, but Daniel added much to what we had seen, and pointed us to things we had missed. He was very personable, communicating very well, and is a linguist with four languages. His tour is highly recommended.

Expert insight to Ålesund by a local guide - Daniel took us on a lovely walking tour of Ålesund. He was engaging and insightful, providing both architectural and historical knowledge. We saw parts of the city that we had previously missed, and learned more about what we had already seen. Daniel also provided background information about the culture of the region and Norway. He has local knowledge and helps visitors to understand how the Art Nouveau architecture came out of the disastrous fire of 1904. Daniel’s enthusiastic and articulate approach added to our 5-star experience.
