A suprt tour of Leipzig - We toured Leipzig on 18.04.2025 with the second bus. Our guide has accompanied us quite great. We were absolutely thrilled. The tour is absolutely recommendable.

90 minutes worth knowing - We wanted to give our first visit to Leipzig an overview of the city. This expectation was definitely met. We Leipzigers have also seen and experienced new details. The duo of driver and tour guide made the ride an experience.

Very entertaining city tour! - We caught a perfect autumn day at the end of October. Open top and sunshine. In addition, a very entertaining, but also very informative guide, which was very well laid out. Helga was sitting at the steering wheel, so full female power on the hour and a half tour. In the constellation really a must. Very clear recommendation on our part! A great event! 😁

Leipzig City Tour - Excellent tour narrator. She knows the city well. beware. There is only German narration. If you do not understand German this on not for you.

City tour with experienced guide - Standard city tour with an experienced guide. Nothing special, but at least with a real guide on board. In other cities, we have actually had tours with band announcements... Therefore: Recommended.

Tour guide information very different - We had booked the "Grosse Stdrundfahrt durch Leipzig" a total of 2 times for the 16.12.24 and 17.12.24. Unfortunately, the quality and information content of the guide who informs the guests on the bus is VERY dependent on the guide, on 16.12.24 we were unlucky: Grade Sufficient / Poor (possibly student?) on 17.12.24 we were lucky: Grade Very good (very dedicated guide)

Among all... - Although there was a lot to see and a lot of good information, we were nevertheless shocked by 2 remarks: 1. The following joke was given for the best: What is the difference between 1 egg and 1 GDR citizen? The egg is cut into the pan only once and 2. It was noted that the public meadows are not sunbathing areas and that the people on them are not proficient in the German language anyway. We are outraged!!

No English Language Tour Available - We booked through Trip Advisor and the booking was listed as being an English Language tour at 1:30. When we arrived, the brusk woman said there were never any English language tours available. We went anyway and looked at many nice buildings and homes, but couldn't understand any of the presentation. We had to guess where we were by looking at streets signs and the map that was provided in German. We did get to our goal, however, which was to Hop Off and visit the Völkerschlachtdenkmal, a huge war memorial that commemorates the victory over Napoleon's army. The monument was worthwhile, but we regret not just taking a tram there and back.
