ARRIVAL AT LEH AIRPORT

Leh - Upon arrival, a representative will warmly greet and escort you to your hotel. Check in for a half-day rest, where the hotel staff will serve welcome tea. After lunch, take a leisurely walk to explore Leh Market, Leh Palace, and the old town of Leh. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh Sightseeing:

Leh - Experience the essence of Leh’s renowned tourist attractions in a day. Drive towards the lush and scenic western part of Ladakh along the Indus River. Head straight to Nimoo to witness the breathtaking Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, also known as Sangam. The next stop is Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, believed to have the footprints of the revered Sikh saint, Guru Nanak. Visit the Hall of Fame museum, and spend the evening at Shanti Stupa, enjoying the stunning view of Leh town and the Himalayan sunset. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Leh.

Leh Royal Palace - Known as Lachen Palkar, this former royal palace overlooks Leh town. Built around 1600 by Sengge Namgyal.

Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers - Drive to Nimoo to admire the stunning Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, famously known as Sangam. Guests can opt for an exhilarating 18 KM rafting session on the Zanskar River during summer.

Magnetic Hill - Visit the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill.

Spituk Monastery - Explore the Spituk Monastery in Leh.

Shanti Stupa - After visiting Leh’s attractions, spend the evening at Shanti Stupa, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. It’s a tranquil place to watch the sunset and meditate.

Leh to Nubra

Nubra Valley - Depart early morning for Nubra Valley, passing through Khardungla, the world’s highest motorable pass at 18,380 ft. Arrive in Nubra Valley by afternoon. Enjoy the stunning view of Shayok Valley and don’t miss the Desert Safari ride on the famous Himalayan double-humped camels in Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Diskit Gompa - Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery, the region’s oldest and largest Buddhist monastery. Nearby, see the giant statue of the future Buddha, known as Gyawang Chamba or Maitreya Buddha, offering a magnificent view of the entire Shayok Valley.

Hunder Sand Dunes - After the monastery visit, head to Hunder Sand Dunes to witness the unique sight of the famous Himalayan double-humped camels. Enjoy a Desert Safari ride and the spectacular view of Shayok Valley.

NUBRA TO PANGONG

Pangong Tso - Depart early (around 8 AM) for Pangong Lake, driving towards Ladakh’s eastern border through Shayok Valley. Arrive at Pangong by afternoon. The lake spans 4-5 km wide and over 135 km long, with about two-thirds on the other side of the Indo-China Border. Overnight at camp with a stunning lake view.

Pangong to Leh + Traditional Ladakh Lunch Experience in Stok

Leh - Rise early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast by the lake, explore a nearby village to experience the local lifestyle. Return to Leh by afternoon. Spend the rest of the day exploring the local market and shopping.

Thiksey Monastery - En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Thiksey Monastery is the largest in central Ladakh and is renowned for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
