- Preveli Beach - Also known as Lake Preveli or Phoenix, Preveli Beach is a breathtaking location situated at the end of the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where the Grand River flows into the sea. During the 1960s and 1970s, it was a favored destination for hippies. The riverbanks are lined with lush Theophrastus palm trees, creating a tropical ambiance. This area boasts the second-largest palm forest in Crete, following Vai. Visitors can stroll along the river under the shade of the palm trees or explore the picturesque canyon. At the river’s mouth, the beach features a blend of pebbles and sand, with a heart-shaped rock on the eastern side. Here, visitors can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters, basking in the sun, and taking in the unique scenery. The bus will drop visitors off at the nearest parking area, surrounded by towering cliffs—ideal for capturing stunning photos. To access the beach, a footpath with approximately 300 steps, taking about 15 minutes, must be followed. After approximately 4 hours of leisure time, the group will return to the bus and head back to the hotel.

The bus will stop at a parking lot, the nearest to the beach, where a path leads down to the beach.
