Great day! - Coco was a fantastic guide! The coral gardens were spectacular. The lunch in the motu was delicious and fun sitting in the water!

A delightful day on the water thanks to Chris! - Chris was a fantastic guide, the boat was extremely comfortable and we had a blast with the other guests on this full day on the water. The stop for the sharks and rays was busy with many other boats, which wasn’t Chris’ fault, but made that part of the trip unfortunately feel crowded and touristy. Once we were away from that stop though, he shared information about the islands and the places we were passing along the way. Chris guided us through the Coral Garden himself, making sure we stayed in clear pathways through the formations. That was a highlight of the trip. We saw schools of rays, and Chris kept us moving with them, so we got a good viewing opportunity. We didn’t get to see manta rays since the visibility at that stop was too limited to see deeper into the water. The lunch at the motu was delicious, the hosts wee fun and provided a very entertaining demonstration of opening a coconut, along with some music and dancing. We walked a short way to see the ocean side of the motu - unprotected by the reef - which was stunning. Our day finished with passing by many of the over water bungalow resorts, a spot where folks were riding horseback in the ocean and then a relaxing spot for a swim before heading back to the dock. Chris made each of us a banana crown as a memento of our adventures with him. The boat had room for 16 people (seating areas for 2) and the operator kept the party to exactly that size, making the trip very comfortable, as guests had set spots for the whole day and could also ride on the bow or the side nets to the outrigger. The main cabin was covered for those times we wanted less sun, as well. There was water, juice and sodas along the way and pool noodles - which we mostly used for the last swim spot (which was shallow enough to touch, but the noodles let us truly relax and reflect on the beautiful day we’d enjoyed. I would highly recommend Chris as a captain and guide. I would love to come back and visit less busy sites and spend more time snorkeling at each - but would request him as our guide 100% for a more immersive day.

Wonderful Day - Very Efficient, But Not Rushed - The boat was fantastic. It had an outrigger look to it with natural colors and a net between the main boat and the outrigger (it was the coolest looking boat we saw all day). Our guide Chris was friendly and knowledgeable. We went to four snorkeling sites with preparation for each site in advance and a little Bora Bora local knowledge as well. The first stop was for viewing Sting Rays and Black-Tip Sharks in very shallow water with a sandy bottom. It felt a little bit like an aquarium, but it was still a lot of fun and my the entire family loved it. The second stop was for Eagle Rays in deeper water (circa 35 feet) and we saw ten swimming together along the bottom. The third stop was an attempt at seeing Manta Rays, but they were allusive on our day; however, Chris spent a lot of time trying to spot one from our boat (an A+ for effort). The fourth dive spot was a marine sanctuary with great coral heads teaming with colorful fish and clams that were opening and displaying myriad colors. Chris drove us by each hotel on the east side of the lagoon and told us a little bit about each one. Our final stop was for a lunch on the beach with a nice, but simple, buffet and a few demonstrations of island life (opening coconuts, pulling the husk off and grinding the coconut meat; slightly touristy, but we are tourists). I highly recommend this tour.

A Great Experience - Our full day tour with Rohivai was fantastic and a great way to spend a day seeing Bora Bora from 360 degrees. Nico was hilarious, energetic, attentive and welcoming. Even when he was telling a joke, he always was always paying attention to everything going on. The boat was new and nice. One of the better ones we saw that day. The lunch on the beach was super relaxing and the food delicious. It was great seeing the island and surrounding atoll by small boat and experiencing the coral gardens, searching for manta's and snorkeling with sharks and stingrays. Overall, it was a great way to spend the day, ran professionally and we would highly recommend Rohivai to anyone looking do any sort of excursion they offer.

Great day! - On-time pick up. “Coco” our guide has an easygoing and fun demeanor which puts everyone at ease. Enjoyed learning about Bora Bora. The day was perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Coco knows all the good spots for sharks, various rays, etc. Nice lunch at end of day.

Incroyable - An extraordinary day despite the capricious weather at the beginning of the day with an exceptional boat captain (Mauruuru Malaki).

To do in any weather 👍 - Despite a lot of rain in the morning, our guide of the day Nico aka MALAKI sunny us our day, with his good humor, humor and kindness. A big positive of the day on the spot of the coral garden and sharing the culture on the motu. Thanks again to MALAKI. We recommend without hesitation.

Exceptional day - The weather was not suitable for our exit, no worries we were able to shift. The captain came back the next day to pick us up for a day trip. The coral garden is beautiful, the captain top and the meal at the motu great with demonstration of pareo knotting and coconut opening. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Beautiful islands, good snorkeling, friendly guide, delicious food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! - I thought the trip was very close to as-advertised! The guide was very nice and the food was delicious!! At the first stop, we got to spend time with the sting rays and sharks, which was great--but there were LOTS of other people there. The second stop was for eagle rays, which was cool except they were about 15 meters (45 feet) below the surface. The third stop was for the coral garden--which was great! There weren't a lot of fish per se (there were some), but the coral was really cool!! The last stop was for manta rays and we didn't see any (that's not the tour operators fault though) One comment I would have is that the "guide" really didn't guide you when snorkeling. It would have been nice to know what you're looking at (e. G. What kind of fish, what kind of coral, etc.) The lunch was delicious and there was a fun presentation on how to crack and prepare coconuts! I would definitely recommend this trip to other travelers!!

Disappointing – Not as Advertised - We chose this tour based on the excellent reviews, but the experience we had would barely deserve even one star. The guide didn’t speak or provide any explanation during the entire trip. We made four separate stops with zero communication about what we were seeing or supposed to experience. There was another English-speaking couple on the boat, and I ended up translating the very little information the captain occasionally mumbled. All the guests on board were clearly disappointed and confused. The boat itself was not the traditional pirogue shown on the website and on TripAdvisor, but a very basic boat that felt like a downgrade. At one point, the captain even made an unannounced stop at the airport to pick up a parcel — not exactly part of the tour! The only enjoyable moment was lunch, and that was mostly thanks to the lively atmosphere created by other boats arriving at the same time — not because of anything arranged by our own tour. We reached out to Rohiva Tour directly, but their response was short and unhelpful. They simply told us to contact the booking platform. All in all, this tour was not worth the money and certainly not what was promised in the description. We felt misled and disappointed. I cannot recommend it.
