An ABSOLUTE MUST experience - This experience exceeded all expectations. The education provided was amazing. The staff is so knowledgeable and so much fun. The whole group bonded as we chose our oysters, and celebrated the opening of each oyster. Our guide Tahi demonstrated surgical technique in opening each oyster, and we even got to witness the symbiosis of the oyster and baby lobster! 10/10 experience!

Highlight of Our Vacation! - It was a rainy and windy day (the worst weather day of our trip) when we had scheduled an excursion to the Bora Bora Pearl Farm. We debated whether or not to go forward with it and finally decided to do so -- we were SO GLAD we did! Tahi and Manu came to the Westin to pick us up, and we were the only couple on the boat. The boat ride was quick (although wet and windy due to the weather) to the nearby Pearl Farm, where Tahi gave us a very interesting and informative tutorial on the formation of pearls in oysters. After which, Tahi and Manu took us on a boat ride to the location of the oyster cages where we got to snorkel to the oysters and pick the ones we wanted. Back at the Pearl Farm, Tahi showed us how to gently extract the pearls from the oysters (so that the oysters would continue to live) -- it was very interesting and rewarding to see the beautiful pearls (which we got to keep) and heartwarming to know that the oysters would live on! The team also sang and played the ukulele for us -- how very nice! Tahi and Manu were both the nicest and most gracious tour operators, as well as knowledgeable and entertaining, and we most definitely recommend their tour company "Pearl Farm - Dive for it!" to all those visiting Bora Bora! Fabulous experience - Super pleasant moment, Manu transmits his passion for pearls, we recommend 100% Several nice moments throughout the experience, we leave you surprised:) We were very lucky because manta rays were also at the rendezvous and we followed them for a while before starting to choose our oyster... in short more than just an excursion, a real experience on the island of Bora Bora! Go ahead:)

Greatest activity ever!! - This is a must do!! Wonderful experience with Tahi who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Not only did we learnt a lot about black pearls but also promoted my swimming skills! Will come back again!!

Educational and Fun - This is possibly the best excursion I’ve done at any resort. Tahi was awesome. They picked us up at the Westin, brought us to where they host a little lecture on pearl farming which was so interesting. Then you go snorkeling and pick out your oysters. When we got back Tahi and the other gentleman serenaded us with some beauties Tahitian music while we snacked and had some drinks. Then they did their “surgery” on the oysters we collected to extract the pearls. We got to take them home in cute little glass bottles as keepsakes. 10/10 tour.

So fun! Totally Worth it ! You must go! - We had the best time with Manu and Tahi. Please treat yourself - it is so fun and you’ll learn how black pearls are made. Manu is personable and fun and an overall delight and Tahi as boat captain is so great and nice too. They even play music and sing to us as apart of the activity. The activity is the perfect amount of time and it is not far to travel there. They are situated right between the Westin and St Regis. We learned a lot about the Tahitian Pearl, and got to snorkel, dive for oysters, then pick your own oyster and watch Manu open it looking for your pearl. We had a fantastic time and both walked away lucky to have chosen an oyster with a black pearl to keep. How great is that!

Great time at the pearl farm :) - Great experience, friendly guides, very informative and lots of fun to see if you get a pearl in your oyster. Convenient from the resorts!

Amazing experience - We had an amazing time with Tahi and Manu. They are situated right between the Westin and St Regis so you have incredible views of Mt Otemanu the entire time. The team is so fun and knowledgeable. My wife and I had a fantastic time!

Well Spent Time! - Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fantastic vistas, scenic locations and a wonderful snorkel. Provided classroom instruction on a white sand beach under the cover of a palm Palapa. Snorkeled in the lagoon to select our Pinctada Margaritifera Oysters. We then extracted the pearls from the Oysters we selected. Served refreshments along the way (fruits and drinks). Educational, relaxing and interactive. Time and Money well spent on our Poyenesian vacation.

Incredible experience! - Incredible experience! A one of a kind excursion. Getting to learn about the process of what it takes to make a pearl, going out to dive for the pearl (you choose the oyster), and extracting the pearl was such a fun experience! Tahi was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend.
