Wonderful Peek Into Leesburg History! - This tour is precisely as advertised. We wanted a small group tour of Leesburg focused on its history, and we got it. Carla was extremely well-informed and entertained with little tidbits of lore as well as the provable history. Since almost all the buildings of interest are in private hands, there is no going-inside in Leesburg. She hits a dozen significant buildings, and they are fortunately within blocks of each other in downtown Leesburg. Wear good walking shoes and have your water bottle if appropriate. We were there on a Sunday and the parking in the downtown garage was ample and free. Don't miss visiting the Loudoun County Museum that is right by the garage (and that Carla highlights as you walk). Carla's website has online booking that works.

A Lovely Afternoon in Leesburg - Had a great time on our walking tour. Just what we wanted - history, architecture, and little known facts. And a lunch recommendation that was fantastic. Our guide, Carla ?, owns the business and leads these private tours 3-4 times a week. How lucky were we! It was about 80 minutes of walking on mostly brick side walks, and mostly flat. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Leesburg!
