Three of us shared the family slider meal and we had a lot left over. Ribs my dad ordered were amazing amd I will again - Our waiter was funny and very attentive. The ribs were the best I've ever had. We were all pleased with the food and experience.

Redemption - This visit was a complete turn around from my visit to Hard Rock Cafe in Aruba. Went in for a light lunch, settled on a margarita flatbread, cauliflower wings and a Waldorf salad. Everything was just right, the flatbread was perfectly crisp, the wings were hot but not over powered by the sauce and the salad had just the right dressing to let you still enjoy the flavors of the lettuce, grapes, walnuts, apples, grilled chicken, etc. Doug, our waitor, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He quickly responded to all our needs while still giving us plenty of time to enjoy our meal.

Quick Bite - We were going to a show and did not have plenty of time to spare so we said let check out this cafe that we haven’t visited in years. We sat at the bar. The food was good the service was good and the price was ok. I did get what I paid for and didn’t have to send it back. So yes we would visit again if we have to.

Overpriced - Upon checking in at the Great Cedar, we were starved! The first place we came to was the Hard Rock Cafe. We ordered a steak salad and a special which was the pastrami on rye. This, with one glass of pinot grigio cost $64.00. The steak salad could have been an appetizer. The special was outstanding!! The waitress was excellent. If I had to do it again, I would not eat here for their prices.

Our Swan Song! Never again. - After 2 other not so great visits, we thought we would give Hard Rock another go. Our own fault. We were greated by a very nice gentleman, very attentive, asked for seating preference, not busy when we got there, very cordial and announced server would be right by. Of course I noticed the guy that bussed the table had the grubbiest bar towel, I was cringing. He never rinsed or changed it out the whole time we were there. He would wipe a table and attach it to a belt loop. It had a grungy look to it. Not to worry, we re wiped the table. I guess it threw me off that he was walking around with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth. Gross. We got there just before 4pm. The server said hello and then took a bit to come back. We asked on an appetizer to substitute for the chicken wings as we cannot eat them. She said sure, chicken tenders. This was $21.95 for just the appetizers. We said great, ordered a cheeseburger and I asked about the beet salad, the menu mentioned you could get it as a side. She said she did not understand. I said and showed her that one could get a beet salad as a side, she said oh, it is under salads. So, we had to look, did not appeal so we passed. Our soft drinks showed up in about 5 minutes. Perfect. Then we waited. The music once again was loud, we looked at the people there, no one seemed to be into the music except the staff. I could see most watching the football game. To each his own but, I will admit to little tolerance to loud music especially when just wanting to get a quick sandwhich. 10 minutes later the condiments arrived. Yay, food was coming. Nope, at 4:30 the server said your food should be out soon. I said, "I hope so, we are close to asking to settle up and leave". She did not seem to like that and said, "Sorry, we are busy"! I just looked at my companion and said, more than ever I am ready to leave. Then, like a miracle, the food appeared. The cheeseburger looked wonderful, (not mine), I had to laugh, he went to use the mayo and it would not come out of the squeeze bottle. Finally took off the cap, the seal was still intact. We got to play the get the plastic off of the mayo bottle for a bit. I was excited to see the appetizers but that ended quickly. Everything was barely warm. It was obvious the plate had been sitting there for quite a bit of time. It was like bringing food home and not re heating it. The onion rings would have been great. Chicken tenders were barely warm and the ones that were substituted had hot sauce on them. Exactly what we said we could not eat. The bruschetta was lousy. It was 3 pieces of barely warmed at one time bread, no longer warm so just seemed stale. It was topped with chopped tomato, no oil or anything else we could pick out, there was some sort of cheese on top that when we picked them up it slid off with most of the tomatoes. We had seem some on the way in, looked nothing like them. Everything was almost warm as I said. We asked for a box to take home the hot sauce tenders. Server asked if we did not like them. I said no, why would they put the sauce on that we said we could not eat. She said, oh, you did not like them? I said no, we hate them. She said I don't know why they did that, sorry. So, who is up for cheescake???? First bubbly or upbeat thing out of her. We ased for the check, left a sub par tip. Due to the lousy service and barely warm food, I did not want to even leave one. Bottom line, we will not be back. Diners, there are better options available to you.

Dining at the Hard Rock- Age Requirement - Hard Rock Cafes are known for their ambience and celebrity artifacts. As a couple (one 21, one 20), we arrived for dinner around 630pm on what was seemingly a slow Wednesday night. The hostess, “Jessie”, took a few minutes to notice us. When she did, we were told that families and those 21 and older can sit in the main dining area and those under 21 would only be allowed to a “small back room”. The description in itself was certainly uninviting, but we were flabbergasted to hear that a restaurant would actually have such a rule. Furthermore, that this “rule” is not posted prominently on their website or at their location. Having visited many Hard Rock Cafes, we were simply looking to enjoy some pub style food and take in the surroundings, especially after driving 45 minutes to the destination. We were very disappointed. My mother couldn’t believe it- and called the cafe just to validate what I had said hoping there was a misunderstanding. All in all- a bad experience. Not well advertised or explained. The description of their “small back room” should be of concern. 18 year olds can vote and go to war, but they cannot sit in a wide open restaurant that happens to have a bar. Shocking. Either the regulations are completely out of whack, or the cafe cannot control who they serve alcohol to. Either way, the hostess had no explanation except “we’re part of a casino”. Depressing to see what over-regulation has come to and that front line service workers are uninformed and lack selling ability. I guess customers are not always first.
