Additional Information

Discover how to hand-roll ‘sfoglia’ (fresh pasta) and prepare 2 distinct, simple pasta variations from scratch guided by your Cesarina. To top it all off, you’ll also acquire the skill to prepare the classic Tiramisu.

Wonderful pasta and tiramisu cooking class with Pierangela - The cooking class with Pierangela was a wonderful experience. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we were the only people in the class. Pierangela taught us first how to make a delicious tiramisu then both orecchiette and cavatelli. All were done from scratch. Once the food was cooked we sat down to a scrumptious dinner with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She cooked some additional goodies to go along with what we prepared together. This was one of the most memorable things we did on our 9 day visit around Puglia. By the time we finished 3 hours later we felt like family with her little one calling my wife Santina NONA. We have already made the tiramisu twice since arriving home 3 weeks ago and it it was great - she taught us well. If you visit Lecce this cooking class with Pierangela is a MUST DO experience!!!

Outstanding experience - Fantastic fun, food and friendship. Lucia is a wonderful ambassador for Viator. We’ve used Viator for several great activities in both Croatia and Puglia, Italy. Cooking with Lucia and her friends was the best by far!

Fun experience learning to make tiramisu and local pasta dishes - We had a wonderful time during our pasta and tiramisu class in Lecce! We learned how to create two local pasta dishes, and our lovely chef used the pasta we made to cook two delicious family recipes. Our host/Cesarina was kind and patient as we learned to make cavatelli and orecchiette. She also prepared 3 delightful appetizers for us to taste while we waited for the pasta dishes to be cooked and assembled. Highly recommend.

Awesome cooking experience! - As part of our trip to Puglia we really wanted to have a true Italian cooking experience. Carlo and Josee were the perfect hosts and teachers, making our pasta and tiramisu cooking experience fun, enjoyable and educational! Highly recommend if you want a true Puglia cooking experience!

Wonderful cooking experience with my mom and friend - Wonderful cooking experience in Puglia! Pierangela and her sister-in-law were fantastic. We learned about the art of making pasta in Puglia and the importance of this being passed down to the younger generations. Pierangela’s home was lovely and her sister-in-law was very helpful translating. My mom, friend, and I thought it was one of the highlights of our trip. And, when I left a bag at Pierangela’s home, she was able to areange for me to pick it up in Lecce later that day.

Fun Italian cooking course! - Cozy evening where we learned to cook delicious dishes. Carlo and Giusy opened their own home to us and made us feel completely at home. Nice to get to know the Italian cuisine in this way. After making the dishes we could sit down in their beautiful courtyard to eat our own homemade dishes. We would definitely recommend this cooking course! Carlo and Giusy thank you!
