  In Nardò, you can opt for a self-guided wine tasting tour at a prominent local winery (advance booking is necessary). The winery offers experiences with 3 or 4 glasses of wine from various grapes, accompanied by a small appetizer of taralli and focaccia bread, with an additional cheese option for the second choice, and a comprehensive experience with 5 glasses of wine that includes a cold cuts platter.
  The wine tasting costs range from 30 to 40 euros per person, payable at the winery according to your preferences. If the wine tasting is not conducted, the time will be allocated to the next stops, or an additional stop can be added, as per the customer’s wishes; also consider the tour option “Discovering Galatina Basilica.”
• Spiaggia Cittadina a Santa Maria al Bagno - Transfer to the coast with brief stops in charming villages like Santa Caterina and Santa Maria al Bagno.
• Torre Del Fiume Di Galatena - Travel to Gallipoli beach, passing by four tower fortifications and the cut mountain.
• Spiaggia Padula Bianca - Stop at Rivabella beach.

• Centro Storico di Gallipoli - Gallipoli, the Ionian pearl, is split between the modern city and the old one. The ancient city is situated on a limestone island, connected to the mainland by a bridge built in the 16th century. Here, you will have free time to explore the historic center, characterized by narrow streets filled with local handicraft shops, beautiful baroque Churches, and aristocratic Palaces. Also worth visiting are the Cathedral, a prime example of baroque in Salento, the Castle built in the 13th century, and the Greek fountain, one of the oldest in Italy.

If the wine tasting is unavailable, such as on Sundays or due to winery availability, the tour will instead visit Galatina to explore the captivating late Romanesque church of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, built in 1390 and adorned with magnificent frescoes by artists from the Giotto school. This option is also available as “Discovering Galatina Basilica” for those who prefer to skip the winery or beach visit.
