On the left, the magnificent late 17th-century bell tower by Giuseppe Zimbalo stands prominently with its majolica dome. At the center, the Cathedral features a façade with a balustrade, overlooked by the statue of the city’s protector, Sant’Oronzo, and adorned with flowers, angels, and lanceolate points, a sublime example of fanzaghesco baroque. The Episcopio, with its propylaea portico, is an admirable work by Emanuele Manieri.
