Informative tour - This does not appear to be a very popular activity in Lecce but if you have interest, it is a good tour. It starts in the jewish museum where your guide gives you an overview of Jewish life in Lecce, followed by some quick videos, then it's off to stroll the streets. The guide, well prepared and personable. Well worth the time if you have interest

A powerful, beautiful testament to Lecce’s Jewish community. Do not miss! - This tour and the Jewish museum are a must see! We had a wonderful 1-hour tour with Sara. We were traveling with my 89 yr old dad who uses a mobility scooter and they made sure the tour was accessible to him. (Thank you!) Sara was a great storyteller and charming, everything you could possibly ask for in a guide. The museum is performing a critical function in restoring the awareness of Lecce’s jewish community which was profound and complex and sad, and had been erased for a very long time. The museum is full of interesting artifacts and plans to continue and expand its work. Truly amazing. Thank you to Michelangelo and everyone else who is taking on this work in such a thoughtful way.

Jewish Tour well worth the time! - Terrific informative tour. Added a significant dimension to our understanding of the history of Lecce and the Jews of Salento in ancient times as well as post WWII. Francesco was knowledgeable and very engaging. Grazie!

Excellent - Claudia was a fantastic guide. She had a wonderful empathy and knowledge of life for the Jewish people through the various eras. Very interesting and would encourage one to learn more about how they survived. The pace and information were perfect. Thank you.

Beware Viator instructions!! - If you are driving to Leche for the tour, don't follow Viator instructions. This will take you into the ZTL restricted area and you will be fined 90 euros!!! We were frustrated, lost and very annoyed that Viator did not warn us of this

Interesting Tour - Being Jewish, I was especially excited about this tour. I thought the museum was interesting and walking around the Jewish quarter was cool. I also enjoyed the films they showed us. Unfortunately, I didn’t connect with the tourguide as much as I did on our other tours. She was very sweet, but not overly enthusiastic. Regardless, I would still recommend this tour.
