- Giardino di Ninfa - Renowned as the most beautiful and romantic garden globally, the Garden of Ninfa is a sanctuary crafted by the Caetani family. It wasn’t until the late 19th century that the Caetani family drained the marshes, cleared the overgrown weeds from the ruins, planted numerous cypresses, holm oaks, beeches, and roses, and restored some of the ruins, creating an Anglo-Saxon style garden with a romantic flair. The garden’s enchanting charm began to surface thanks to Marguerite Chapin and later her daughter Leila (1930). Today, the garden resembles a picturesque ruin with remnants of a castle, palaces, churches, and medieval bell towers, all enveloped by lush vegetation. Spanning 8 hectares, the garden boasts over 1300 plant species, and in spring, the ornamental cherry trees bloom, creating a magical atmosphere, while abundant streams from the mountain form a small lake.
- Casale del Giglio - Casale del Giglio is a century-old winery and stands as one of Italy’s most innovative and intriguing wineries. It has garnered numerous accolades, including AWC Vienna, Bibenda, Gambero Rosso, Mondus Vini, James Suckling, Mondial des vins extremes, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition. These awards have positioned it among Italy’s premier wineries. Our visit begins with a 1-hour guided tour of the winery, where visitors can explore the vineyards and the natural oasis. The tour continues to the cellar, with stairs leading to a terrace that offers a panoramic view of the entire winery. Following this, a wine tasting will be held on the first floor, featuring their flagship wine Mater Matuta Reserve and two other varieties produced by the winery.
- Sermoneta - Sermoneta is one of Lazio’s and Italy’s most stunning villages, exuding a timeless charm and a unique, evocative atmosphere. This captivating town, marked by the presence of the Caetani Castle and its beautiful historic center, offers a unique journey through Lazio’s medieval villages. Must-visit sites include the Caetani Castle, a grand 13th-century fortress that majestically overlooks the hamlet and transports visitors into a fairy tale. The castle also served as a backdrop for scenes from the film ‘Non ci resta che piangere’ featuring Roberto Benigni and Massimo Troisi. We will guide you through this magical place, but not before indulging in some delicious local cuisine! We’ll visit one of the area’s most renowned spots to savor typical local dishes. A fixed menu will be offered, including a starter, two half first courses, a second course, and local desserts, all accompanied by fine local wine.

Experience an enjoyable day trip tour from Rome to the Garden of Ninfa and Sermoneta, to spend a lovely day in the midst of nature, the mysteries of the medieval Templars and the local enogastronomic culture. During the morning we will enter the enchanting Garden of Ninfa: a guided tour in a magical English garden that extends over what remains of the ancient city, now a ghost, destroyed in 1382 and still unfinished. To make this day even more enjoyable, our day will continue in a winery, where you will take part of a guided tour of the vineyards, followed by a wine tasting (one reserve wine and two labels). Don’t worry about lunch, as we will take you to one of the most famous local restaurants in Sermoneta! This is one of the most picturesque and charming medieval villages in the province of Latina. In fact, since 2017 the borough of Sermoneta has been among the “Top 100 Destinations of Italy” and is one of Italy’s 100 destinations unmissable and worth visiting.
