Storytelling down the Dalyan River, complete with mud bath and turtles - Such a brilliant and very full day! We travelled the Dalyan river, took a mud bath and a soak in the hot springs, meandered through spectacular landscapes to see the ancient cliff tombs. We sailed to Turtle Beach where a huge mama loggerhead turtle obligingly swam around our boat. Finally we were able to swim on the seaward side of the sand spit in warm shallow water. Our guide, Mehmet, is a natural storyteller and comic as well as being hugely knowledgeable. We learned and laughed a LOT. The whole experience was both fascinating and fun. The five stars are for the boat trip and for Mehmet. Sadly the inclusive lunch was two star at best. You would be better off eating the delicious blue crab dinner provided for the turtles.

Mud mud, glorius mud. - Mud bath and sulpher pool brilliant. Turtle beach well worth the visit. Make sure you get blue crab to throw into the mooring area to entice turtles to appear.

A great day with a blend of fun and relaxation - A great day with a blend of fun and relaxation. our tour guide was very informative, friendly and she had a lot of knowledge about the area and all aspects of the day. The mud bath was a lot of fun but also fascinating because of its Roman history, the river journey was relaxing and in a beautiful landscape. Turtle Beach has to be one of the best beaches for swimming in the whole area and the journey back on the boat was also super relaxing. Be sure to try the pomegranate juice that is available on the boat.

so beautiful, to die for, 10/10 experience. - me and my family were quite nervous to begin the trip as we were worried that we wouldn’t see turtles. We were entirely wrong. We started off the day quite slow as our hotel was in ölüdeniz and the turtle beach was further away (the location is stated on trip advisor). our tour guide introduced herself as icy. she was so brilliant. Her mood was sky rocketing throughout the day, she was making everyone laugh and smile. she has the most amazing sense of humour and is just overall kind and considerate towards guests and families. We had begun the trip on the boat and was greeted with the mud bath and hot springs. immediately it lived up to its expectations me and my family had the most amazing time. as daunting as the mud bath may seem it was so worth it my skin feels so soft. we then got back on the boat to go back to get lunch which again was so good for the price. then we had gotten back on the boat to continue on to see the tombs in the mountains which is so so surreal. a beautiful view of the history of the country, icy had explained everything to a T. We had then continued the trip towards the turtle beach and we had visited the turtle hospital to collect crab to feed the turtles. Ivy had allowed us to hold alive crabs as opposed to the cooked dead ones we bought to feed. i digress, we arrived at turtle beach and immediately was greeted by two 30 year old turtles, huge things they were and so majestic. we docked and got off and began feeding them and we were swarmed with turtles and fish the wildlife was honestly to die for. We were docked for an hour and a half and allowed to swim in the ocean and get drinks and collect ourselves while admiring the sights. we then met at 2:45 pm and travelled back to the resturant harbour, all feeling so joyful as we’d seen turtles in the wild and had icy to make us all laugh. The views were honestly incredible i’ve never seen anything quite like it. we laid on the front of the boat sunbathing on the route home, i was so relaxed i’d fallen asleep. but anyway i’d thought i better leave this review as if anyone is debating it to encourage the trip. (the refreshments on the boat are also so affordable).

Fantastic day trip not to be missed - Had a fantastic trip with 2 friends. The day was well planned out and a nice lunch provided. The guides were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Fabulous pomegranate juice on board the boat. Highly recommend. Mudbaths were fun but stink a little. The photographer on the boat was absolutely fantastic. He paid such attention to us and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Turtle beach was fantastic too. Water warm and we saw 2 turtles in the water.

Guides perfect, Boat trip very nice, Bus annoying - First a great thank you to the tour guides Sevgi an Olga! They made a perfect job! The Boat trip was both interesting as well as relaxing! Food was a bit cold but fresh and more than enough! But the very long bus trip was despite the hood driver extremely annoying, took 2 1/2 hours in the morning and as long or more in the evening traffic...

Not impressed - 7 hours on a bus to spend 1.5 on turtle beach. There was a long river cruise in between as well as the mud bath, which wasn’t our thing. Well organised and they had an excellent photographer on the boat, and the tour guide tried to make it interesting, but it’s a sausage factory. Multiple other groups doing similar journeys and we had better turtle sightings in the canal in Fetiya. Not what we expected and it’s a very long day of travel. Wasn’t for us.
