We could not not not visit it also by sea and we had the great fortune to meet Captain Claudio who with his comfortable and elegant Zannone1954 showed us the beauties of this place. On board the ZANNONE 1954 between the colors of the coasts and the scent of the sea - I allowed myself, together with my partner, a gift that I had long wanted: a day by boat, on board the ZANNONE 1954 of Commander Claudio Romano, sailing between the islands of Ponza, Palmarola and Zannone. I had previously consulted the weather-marine forecast to allow us a whole day, alone, with the calm sea and the blue sky, in an exclusive and historic boat, perfectly renovated. Commander Claudio, who is a very experienced sailor, having previously sailed through all the seas and oceans, knows well the sea of the Ponza archipelago, where he was born and where he lived in the early years. The sea of these three islands, endlessly blue, was calm and invited us to dive with its crystalline beauty: we took repeated baths, admired the seabed, enjoyed the scents and colors of the sea, for the sound of those small waves crashing, wonderful and varied symphony, and, arrived around 1 pm, Commander Claudio offered us a light meal that we shared with him: sandwiches stuffed with Serrano jamon, others with vegetables, fruit and Valdobiadene prosecco. Then, with the gait at a minimum, the Commander Claudio resumed sailing and the two of us, lulled by the waves, we lay under the awning, close, resting our heads on soft pillows and we forgot the daily fatigue, the stress of work, because during this trip we forget everything and abandon ourselves to the infinite beauty of nature in the calm of a happy summer day. The Commander Claudio, making an extraordinary exception, also allowed us a swim at sunset, before returning to port. An extraordinary experience
