Very pleasant and nice visit. Thank you again. The money for this educational trip is well invested. - A very nice experience on my birthday. My fullest recommendation. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the weather situation deteriorated a lot during my visit, so I am thinking about visiting again. Especially the staff of the information respond very quickly and in detail to an email.

A wonderful day - Beautiful both the outward journey by train and the return journey by cable car. All well organized, the ice museum beautiful, the balcony with breathtaking views of the glacier, the outdoor walk very easy for everyone. We really had a wonderful day.

Best snow experience - This is simply the most amazing view of high mountains ,glaciers and snow . We have never seen such raw beauty .The views and snow were outstanding . The staff were great . Only issue was tickets -did not make it clear in line where we caught cable car from
Sorted at terminal in Grindelwald
Day was just superb

Awesome - It's been 20 years since I last went up Jungfraujoch & and wow, how it's changed. It's now much more commercial. The new gondola system gets many, many more people up (& much quicker) than on the cog railway. The new glacier station is enormous, shops and restaurants.
All of this means it can be a little crowded at times and the organised groups can push & jostle for position.
However - don't let any of that put you off. The Top of Europe is a brilliant experience for everyone. We loved the Ice Palace, just as wonderful as previous visits. The snow fun park and outside walks exhilarating. We opted for 2 hours on top - not enough we stayed 4 hours
We went up the quick way by gondala but came back down on the "slow route" by cog railway to savour the views on the way back.

Impressive - The train ride and the reservation worked very well. The views and the tour are great, recommended, well described and varied - a cool experience. The staff is helpful and nice.
Which worked out less:
1) We wanted to brunch. 2 restaurants were closed for groups - we should have made a reservation.
At the bar there were only Asian noodles and unfinished nut summits - no croissants, bread rolls, cereal, yogurt ... or anything else.
2) On the stairs I almost fell twice. The intermediate floors are not marked.
Likewise on the Eiger Glacier, the screws on the wooden floor are trip hazards.
3) On arrival we had to go to the toilet, bottom floor (?) - mhh not cleaned, paper next to it - other toilets in other places were clean.

Crowded but worth it - Very popular sight so quite crowded. Also crowded with tourists so the lines and crowds are not the orderly polite groups you become accustomed to while in Switzerland. You will be pushed and jostled if you are there in the busy season. That said it is an incredible feat of engineering that built the tunnel through the mountain as is something not to be missed. If you can, take the hike to the Summit house (3hr walk over snow). Threat gets you away from the crowd
We had one hiccup in our trip. Our tickets scanned as half the price tickets when person checking tickets on the train scanned them. I have paid full price and did not have a Swiss half price ticket card. He accepted our tickets once I showed him the booking receipt but it did cause a moment of anxiety.
Also would be nice if the tickets gave an option to take the gondola for part of the trip up

No views for us I'm afraid 😔 - It's a risk going up there as to whether you get the views or not. We didn't unfortunately. It's a lot of money but we got half price with the Swiss pass. The gondola ride was great and very quiet and smooth....thank goodness. It was also quite empty. The train ride however is like a bun fight of pushing and shoving by certain people. It was cloudy and a bit snowy on our views but I am sure it is spectacular on a different day. Food is expensive. All the view points were crowded and you're unable to take photos without someone else in it or waiting to get you out of the way. It did spoil it a little as I got tetchy with people just pushing etc. the lifts get crowded etc but I suppose this is to be expected when you have loads of people up there. The return journey was equally busy. I did enjoy the experience despite the lack of view but the hordes of people do spoil it a bit.

Jungfraujoch - The view and experience was amazing once at Jungfraujoch
When we arrived at Jungfrau though it was a different story, I found it overwhelming and chaotic. People were pushing and not enough staff to direct people properly. People just piling into the lift until the lift was rammed. This was exactly the same trying to board the train. No staff directing. Hoards of people coming off the train just pushing. I felt very panicked and felt this spoilt the over all experience for me.

Please do not make a reservation - You shouldn't do a seat reservation. Costs more money and is mainly Indians nullified by group travel, because they always get priority. I was a little early for the gondola ride, come back 10 minutes later and then be late. Although according to my ticket I had the right time. Staff unfriendly short while I have indicated in German and or English that I had a reservation. No group tours come first. I feel cheated. Luckily we had a great experience the day before at Grindelwald First. Much nicer views and activities. Jungfrau is a tourist cash cow no more. Also because there
Views closed were what was not mentioned when booking. Yes it is the highest point but not worth the money. Sorry I'm never negative but that amount of Indians who just don't behave is hugely annoying, pushing and beeping and making noisy phone calls in the gondola. We had to wait more than an hour to return because all groups like Tomas Cook tours etc. got priority while I had a reservation but because of our negative start I couldn't use it in time. So don't make a reservation. Pure deception.
