We’ll guide you through the professional process, so you can enjoy the nuances of the different flavours. Our Master Distiller who created The World’s Best Contemporary Gin leads some of these sessions.
- As the ‘formal’ part of the event ends, relax in our bar and buy another G&T if you wish, while considering how you might enjoy using your 10% discount which is available on all retail purchases on the date of your Experience.

You’ll learn how we make our gin, what makes it so delicious and smooth, and you’ll meet our three stills. You’ll then go on to taste three of our gins in the style of International spirits…

You’ll then go on to taste three of our gins in the style of International spirits competitions, and learn first-hand just how delicious they are. Enter Bicester Heritage through the main entrance on Buckingham Road. The gatekeeper will direct you straight up the main avenue. Parking is only on the main car park to the rear of the building. Cars should not be parked in front of the distillery.

No 1 reason to go to Bicester! - I was bought this as a birthday present and it was such a great treat. We were greeted by Helen and handed a G&T as we got there before hearing all about the Sky Wave story which is located in a very special place. Next, we headed in to see the distillery and see how the gin's made before getting stuck in to the gin's and tasting.
We had a fab time and Helen was knowledgeable, kind, funny, generous and clearly really heart and soul with Sky Wave. The ability to buy gins and have food and drink at the venue was a bonus.
Would highly recommend as a treat for yourself or gift for a gin lover. Thank you, Helen, for making it such a good time.

Fantastic couples day out - What a genuine lovely small business.
You learn so much on the gin experience! We had the lovely time with Helen, we were taught so much about how gin is made and how Sky Wave came about.
Cool story, amazing gin, fantastic day out!
It's based at an old RAF base which has so many other interesting businesses there to explore! We will be checking them out and will be making sure to stop off and grab some drinks when there!
An amazing touch is the driver of the group gets a 'drivers pack' to enjoy when back home!

A must do Gin Tour - Just a brilliant and informative tour. Helen, our tour host, is passionate about the brand and gin in general. She displays a real knowledge of the science and the art, which is fantastic.
We very much enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone. (The gin is pretty good too :)

A great distillery tour experience - will be back! - We had a fantastic time on the Distillery tour! Helen was an outstanding guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about gin! She made the whole experience fun and engaging from start to finish. The insights and tasting were incredible. How do you like your gin in the eveings ? - The experience was very informative whilst being informal. Helen was absolutely delightful, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work. The tasting was good fun, trying to work out what’s in it and we will be back in the summer to enjoy an evening sitting outside in the historical setting sipping gin!

Great experience - We had a great afternoon at the Sky wave distillery.
Excellent tour, tasting the different Gin, and visiting the distillery.
There was so much history behind the sky wave story.

Sky wave gin experience - Fabulous experience and our host was so passionate and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tasting experience and sitting in the bar after and having a few gins. A lovely place and a great experience.

Excellent gin tasting and tour - I bought this gin tasting and tour for my sister's birthday and it was excellent!
We really enjoyed tasting the gins and getting the history of the business from the tour guide Helen, who was really knowledgeable.
It was worth staying after the tour to purchase one of their cocktails made by their mixologist which were delicious. I had never been before, even though I live nearby so I'll definitely be going back to the bar to try some different cocktails soon.

What a fantastic evening! - What a fantastic evening! We were thrilled to receive a pair of experience tickets and couldn’t wait to visit Sky Wave’s distillery to try their gin and see the process in person.
On a cold and frosty January evening, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience at the Bicester Heritage Site. Be sure to stay after your experience to try some incredible cocktails, designed and curated by their in-house mixologist!
We learned so much about the craft and history of Sky Wave gin, and we’ve already been raving about it to friends and family. It was truly a perfect experience and an amazing gift idea from family. Thank you to all involved at the Distillery.

The best gin and gin tour to date and there have been many! - Simply the best gin tour and tasting I have been on to date.
Helen, our tour guide made the whole experience from start to finish interesting, informative, engaging and fun. I came away informed on the history and ethics of Sky Wave Gin, a fantastic local business, with several bottles of gin and a huge desire to go back again.
Go, you won't regret it, whether that be to experience the tour and tasting, enjoy drinks on a Friday or Saturday evening or to buy gin to take away and enjoy at home. You can even take your empty bottles back to be refilled at a discount!
