- As the ‘formal’ part of the event ends, relax in our bar and buy another G&T if you wish, while considering how you might enjoy using your 10% discount which is available on all retail purchases on the date of your Experience.

You’ll learn how we make our gin, what makes it so delicious and smooth, and you’ll meet our three stills. You’ll then go on to taste three of our gins in the style of International spirits…
In this 75 minute Distillery Experience, you’ll enjoy a complimentary G&T on arrival whilst you listen to the story of Sky Wave, how we started and why. You’ll learn how we make our gin, what makes it so delicious and smooth, and you’ll meet our three stills. You’ll then go on to taste three of our gins in the style of International spirits competitions, and learn first-hand just how delicious they are. Finally, you’ll be invited to enjoy your 10% discount on shop purchases, valid on the day of your Experience only.

Enter Bicester Heritage through the main entrance on Buckingham Road. The gatekeeper will direct you straight up the main avenue. Parking is only on the main car park to the rear of the building. Cars should not be parked in front of the distillery.

Wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon - A very relaxed and informative 75 minutes experience. Helen was a wonderful host, encouraging questions and welcoming us with a G&T. The experience included background info of how Sky Wave started, tasting gins and aromatics along with a tour of the distillery. There were 8 people in our session. We got a taxi to enjoy the gins but Sky Wave also offer a driver package as an alternative. I would definitely recommend.

Gin Tasting & Valentines Activity. - What a wonderful Valentines Day activity.
I know Sky Wave, having been there a few times for the summer evenings (very good), what I wasn't aware of was the range and quality of Gin and Vodka.
The tour was great (thank you Helen) allowing us time to see and understand the processes involved, then the tasting was simply brilliant.
We came away with a few bottles, but I can see us going back for more soon!

A ginful afternoon - We went to the gin tasting session hosted by Helen. It was a really informative tour and we were so impressed with the story behind the gin! Tasted great too. Would recommend, excellent way to spend an afternoon!

A fantastic gin experience. - This was a birthday gift and did not disappoint! We were welcomed by the very enthusiast Helen, who set everyone up with a gin and tonic before beginning the experience. A quick intro to the history of this small distillery was followed by a tour of the actual distilling room, history of the stills and then finished off with a taste of 3 further gins and also botanicals.
It was interesting and interactive and Helen was exceptional. She is obviously passionate about the company as well as the gin which made for a superb experience. Drivers were provided with a takeaway bag so they didn’t miss out.

Sky Wave gin distillery experience - We had a great time at the Sky Wave gin distillery experience. Our host, Helen, was extremely knowledgable about the different gins at Sky Wave and made sure we all had a great evening. I’d definitely recommend this for a night out!

FABULOUS FROM START TO FINISH - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Great experience from start to finish and Helen was a fab host!
A lovely little afternoon doing the gin tasting and seeing the distillery. Always loved gin but not tonic - I have now been converted and love both!
Tried various different gins and saw how they are all made and the process of doing so - including flavoured gins!
The grounds that the gin tasting her held on are lovely and the sky wave shop and bar itself are also gorgeous and done up so nicely - felt very cosy!
We lucked in and had a private session as no one else had booked our time slot, Helen was so friendly the session was not at all awkward and there was still a great atmosphere with just the 3 of us - even a little bit of background music to which was a nice touch!
Booked through virgin as we had it as a gift but would definitely go again and book directly with Sky Wave next time!
Option to buy gin at the end if you wanted to but there was also no pressure at all to do so - we did of course buy some as love to support small businesses and also because they were some of the nicest gins we have had.

Great way to spend a few hours! - It was really interesting, our guide who's name I can't remember was brilliant, she was really knowledgeable and made it fun too.
You get to see how its made and taste the different types of gin.
