A great experience that lets you just sit back and let Max Tours take care of the logistics. - We did the Max Tours Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam, and Seven Magic Mountains Tour and our tour guide was James. What a superb day to remember! Coming from the UK, we didn’t want the logistics of getting ourselves around, so booked this trip. We were picked up exactly at the stated time, the bus was clean and cool inside and James worked hard to keep us stocked up with cold drinks and snacks all day long. He was super informative, friendly and gave us lots of tips for the perfect trip. I thought overall the price was extremely reasonable for the 12 hrs we were gone, all the drinks and snacks and entrance into the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. If you go make sure you pay extra for the skywalk!

Great Day at Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon - Our excursion to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon (west) was facilitated expertly by Luis. He sent us an email with details for the trip including the pick up time and location a day prior. Luis also sent us a text letting us know that he would be on location is five minutes. During the ride to the Hoover Dam he provided a great commentary about Las Vega, its history, good places to visit, and some of the future construction. Luis was very informative and engaging without trying to be a comedian. The breakfast was good with muffins, bars, and snacks - along with a great variety of soft drinks and waters. There were four other groups in our van of 13 people and fortunately everyone was respectful and kept to the schedule that Luis requested so we stayed on time. Hoover Dam was very interesting but hot - so bring a water bottle while walking across the Dam. We spent about an hour at the Dam which was perfect for seeing the sites. The stop for lunch was at a Subway sandwich place and the staff knew how to efficiently deal with vans and buses. The visit to the Grand Canyon and sky walk was beautiful. The views were stunning. Wear good walking shoes (some tourist were in sandals) and stay away from the edges as posted. There was a medical emergency while were visiting (likely heat exhaustion issues) so drink lots of water. We spent about three hours at the Grand Canyon which was enough to walk and take pictures. Through out the day - Luis offered (sometimes highly recommended) water and snacks. The ride back was pleasant and we were dropped off a bit early at our hotel.

Our VIP Adventure with Max Tour and the Incredible Luis! - It was our first trip to Vegas and our first visit to the Grand Canyon. My wife must have watched over 100 tour videos from different companies before choosing Max Tour… and she did an amazing job finding the best of the best. Max Tour is definitely a 5-star experience—small group (12 people), snacks and drinks, a clean and comfortable mini bus… true VIP service. Our driver, Luis, was top-notch. An amazing guy with great customer service—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel to each of the multiple stops, he kept us entertained with stories about how Vegas became what it is today. He even took our pictures—it felt like having a personal photographer on board. I can’t speak for the other drivers, but Luis was the best. Don’t let the price be a factor—this experience with Max Tour is worth every penny. We’ll definitely come back to Vegas and book with them again on our future visits.

If you only do one thing when in Vegas, you have to do a Max Tour. - Max Tours were recommended to us by a friend and now I'll pass that recommendation on. I can't speak highly enough of Max Tours. Our tour guide and driver, Celeste was amazing. Her local knowledge and passion were off the scale. From the minute we were picked up from our hotel to the minute we were dropped off, Celeste made us very welcome. Celeste you are a credit to Max Tours, they are very lucky to have you in their team.

Do it! Excellent tour and well worth it. If you do one, do this MaxTour one, you won’t regret it! - After 3 visits to Las Vegas from Australia, we finally done the Grand Canyon trip, visiting the Las Vegas sign, seven magic mountains, Hoover Dam and obviously The Grand Canyon (west rim with skywalk) While a long day, totally worth it. We chose MaxTours for their positive reviews and small group/bus, which did not disappoint. Thomas was our driver/guide/photographer and was excellent, going beyond to help us in anyway, driving safely and pointing out and stopping if there was something of interest for us. Yes we saw a coyote on the side of the road. We were offered multiple refreshments and snacks every time we stopped. Plenty of toilet stops and a great group on our trip. Definitely recommend this day tour.

Great tour with Luis on Max Tours - My friend and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Luis was our guide and he was really great. He communicated extremely well at all times and spoke loud enough and clear enough that I could hear him in spite having a hearing loss. The trip was very enjoyable and there were plenty of stops along the way for bathroom breaks and opportunity to stretch our legs. Luis was great in explaining what we would experience ahead of time so we had no confusion as to where we were going and how much time we had at each stop. He was very informative and gave us an interesting history of Hoover Dam especially. I felt a thorough understanding of what the workers experienced while working on the dam. Many lost their lives. I had a deep respect for the dam and those who helped to construct it. We made a bonus stop at the Joshua Tree Forest and I enjoyed that very much. Luis was informative about how the tree got its name and where we could purchase seeds to grow our own. Guano Point on the West side of the Grand Canyon was by far my favorite stop. There were Breath taking views where ever you looked. Luis especially advised us to be safe and use common sense while at this stop. He also stressed that this was Native American land and to be particularly respectful of the land. Last stop before heading back was the Sky Walk. Luis as always was very clear about where to go and how much time we had before leaving. I particularly was not impressed with the Sky Walk. It would have been more enjoyable if photographers were not blocking the traffic. Those of us who decided not to pay $50 plus to have our photos taken just wanted to enjoy the view and it was difficult trying to get around the four or five photographers who were busy with those who wanted photos. The view was spectacular in spite of it all. I saw a lot of birds trying to take rest in the cracks and crevices because it was getting closer to the end of the day. I saw a clear view of the Colorado River from the Sky Walk. Luis was ready with the van at 4:00pm The trip back was relaxing. We had one bathroom break between the Canyon and our hotel which was perfect. We got back to the hotel earlier than expected. It was a full day but well worth it. I’m thankful that we had such a good guide to make the trip so enjoyable.

All rounder, amazing tour! - Absolutely amazing tour. Huge shout out to Thomas for keeping us entertained throughout the tour. He was so knowledgeable yet not boring which is a huge plus in my opinion. Very welcoming and warm. I would 100% recommend this tour to my friends and family.
