• Devil’s Golf Course - The Devil’s Golf Course is a salt pan in Death Valley National Park, famous for its distinctive salt formations and rugged terrain. The name reflects the challenging landscape, suggesting that “only the devil could play golf” there.
• Badwater Basin - Badwater Basin, an endorheic basin in Death Valley National Park, Inyo County, California, is recognized as the lowest point in North America and the USA, at 282 ft (86 m) below sea level.

The site features a small spring-fed pool of “bad water” beside the road in a sink; the surrounding basin’s accumulated salts render it undrinkable, hence the name. Despite this, the pool supports life, including pickleweed, aquatic insects, and the Badwater snail.
