- Ruta 68 - Upon arriving at the winery, you will be welcomed with a glass of complimentary white wine by the winemaker Alejandra. She will also give a talk about the family history of the winery and relevant aspects of Uruguayan viticulture. We will visit the manufacturing and bottling plant, where the method of making Alta Gama Catamayor wines will be explained. I recommend it with your eyes closed - We paid for the premium tour and had a practically private tour. The guide Raquel was an excellent host, super soloist and polite. Super rich tasting. Good quality wines at an affordable price.
