A brilliant way to start your visit to Porto - Daniel was a brilliant tour guide, we found out so much about Porto, Gia and the history of the cities and the origin of port.

Tuk Tuk tour of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - A pleasant way to see the environs of Las Palmas, its best panorama viewpoints, and some local neighborhoods. Carriage seats 6; but is more comfortable for 4.

Our tour was on a Sunday... - Our tour was on a Sunday so traffic was light which was an advantage. Our driver/guide was terrific. Carlotta took us to key points, gave us time to take in and experience the sights, including the Cathedral. The advice she gave us was very helpful and it was lovely speaking with her.

Las Palmas - This activity was very basic. After the initial mis-communication regarding date and time, which appeared to be poor communication between booking agents and tour operator we set off. A tour round the streets of the new part of the city, with a couple of view points that were moderately interesting. The guide was very good however, he could only work with what he had. Our expectations were more of the history and culture related to the old part of the city, albeit at the end we were offered to visit the pedestrian area and make our own way back. The guide was very good and could not fault his approach, however, maybe it would be helpful to spend less time around the streets with shops and more time around the old part of the city, maybe arranging a short walking tour in the middle of the tour.
