An outstanding experience - The walk is a wonderful experience with the Andes mountain range in all its summer glory. The Lodge is very beautiful and has excellent facilities such as sauna vats, pools at different temperatures, a tasty restaurant. Natureza Espetacular, Vulcano San José - Very beautiful and interesting place speaking of natural landscapes. Guides Luciano, Alex and Cristiano very attentive and friendly. SPA El Morado left to desire, offers massage service, but, can not meet 3 people in an afternoon, offer dessert and does not have, unfortunately. Long time ago... The Chocolate House we visited on the way is very good, delica.

Taste of deception - I bought two packages in January/25 for a tour in the Cajon de Maipo, including a lunch + spa use in a hotel overlooking the glaciers. The use of the spa allowed you to choose between taking a massage or using the pools. The total price was CLP176.000, approximately R$1,000 for two people. We left at 8:30, and on the way, we made 3 stops of 15~20 minutes each, a chocolate house, a square and a mirante. Around 12:00 we arrive at the hotel/spa, which has a beautiful view. For lunch, there were 3 dish options, I chose the salmon that was great. There was no dessert or coffee. The highlight of the tour would be the spa, where we were informed that, unlike what was informed in the sale of the package, the massage should be paid the part. I told him that I was expecting the massage to be included, but the guide limited himself to sending a message to his boss, who in turn did not answer the messages. To be able to use the pools, we had to buy bathing clothes (because my girlfriend would opt for massage and had not taken bathing clothes), which increased by more CLP25.000 (~R$ 150). Misunderstandings happen, but the company's stance to deal with the problem shows that the tourist's satisfaction is not a priority. The company's response is an example of the fundamental problem of tourism intermediation services, they take advantage of the tourist's difficulty to make their rights prevail. Tourists have little time and do not have familiarity with local rules, they are easy targets. Companies do not suffer any real consequences from providing poor quality services. The spa is beautiful, but for two hours of pool, a lunch and transportation, the price of the package is very high. It became a taste of tourist trap, even more after being informed that, even paying the part, the massage would last half an hour (and not 1h, as is usual). It is worth noting that other tour options offered by Turistik, such as visits to the wineries, are visibly more expensive than booking directly at the wineries’ website. On websites that have reviews of companies, it is noted that the company is limited to responding to complaints with “I’m sorry, we’ll improve.” I read that answer as “we are the right choice if you don’t appreciate your money.”
