- Lesedi Cultural Village - Visit five traditional villages including Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele. Listen to the traditional music being played and the fascinating stories told by the people of Lesedi. Enjoy a local South African tribal get-together and experience some traditional dancing.
After the traditional dance we head to the Nyama Choma restaurant. Nyama Choma stands for Great African Feast. And that’s exactly what you will experience! There is an extensive choice of African dishes, including crocodile and ostrich. The restaurant is divided into three different theme areas: North Africa, East Africa and South Africa.
You will have a lot to talk about after a cultural fun day in Lesedi!

Great Experience with an Amazing Guide - This tour was an absolutely great experience and I highly enjoyed bringing my family here to learn more about the South African Culture. The tour guide made it very educational. We had the best experience and the food was phenomenal.

Incredible Cultural Outing - Took my friends from aboard here and they loved it. We went as a big group and enjoyed it a lot. This is definitely a hidden gem. The tour was great for getting to know the big 5 cultures in South Africa.

This is an amazing place! - The staff were very welcoming and my guide was perfect.
They went out of their way to make sure I was happy.
This tour is also super close to some other really nice tours like the Lion Park.

South Africia Living History - Guy was our tour guide and he did a very good job of setting us up for our visit on the ride to the site. We were impressed by the athleticism of the performers and their dedication.

Awesome Experience and Tour Company! - Trip to the Lesedi Village was awesome! Amazing experience, especially the dance performance at the end. Learned a lot about Southern Africa. Our tour guide Happiness was an awesome guide. Learned a lot from him and he took great care of our small group. Highly recommend MoAfrika tours!

Perfect day and learned a lot - Great day at the village
Learned a lot and had a beautiful performance of dancing and learned how to play the drums
My guide Bryon from moafrika was perfect, very good with no problem on pickup and driving, Bryon shared some informations about tourism and Johannesburg suggesting me other tours.
Thank you a lot Bryon hope when I come back with family and friends I get a chance to go on other tours with you

Ledisi Cultural Village for the win! - Everything about this experience was exceptional, starting with the high-energy and good natured attitude of our driver, Happiness! What a way to embody a name.
He shared a lot of information with our small group on the drive to the village and when we arrived the locals did a fantastic job of welcoming us. In addition to the introduction to tribal life and customs, there was a drumming session, a traditional dance performance and a fantastic meal. Can’t recommend this experience enough for anyone interested in the tribal history of South Africa. Great way to spend a day.

Disappointing and Unauthentic - The driver who picked us up from our hotel was wonderful. He was conversational and gave us information about the city on our hour drive to the Lesedi Village. Unfortunately, once arriving at the village, the experience was not at all what we were anticipating. The entire experience is a staged reenactment and resembles what one might do on a school field trip. While some of the actors did a nice job, several seemed uninterested. Many of the activities of the day seemed like a money grab, where tips were being requested and we were being approached to purchase DVDs and CDs of the music and dancing. We were hoping for a more authentic experience while in Africa. If you are interested in the historical culture of the South African tribes, I would recommend a museum instead.
