orangutan jungle trekking - We had four amazing days in the jungle. Everything was really well organized, and we got to see orangutans and many other monkeys and animals—not just briefly, but we could observe them for a longer time. The food was absolutely delicious. The two guides were not only super funny, but they also always responded to our needs, including helping us during the trekking, especially on the descent. Overall, it was super exhausting and we’ve never sweated so much—but it was totally worth it.

AMAZING - The jungle trekking through Bukit Lawang I really recommend to everyone!! It was such a beautiful and special experience! We really enjoyed it. The guides took good care of us during the trekking. An adventure to remember!!!

A MUST! - Could not recommend more! The whole trip was organised brilliantly from pick up to drop off. The tour itself was an amazing experience. The wildlife we saw was incredible, the jungle was beautiful and our guides Havizd and Hendri were fantastic. A particular highlight was spending the night in the jungle playing cards with Havizd surrounded by the sounds of the night. A massive shout out to chef Ram who cooked gorgeous food each evening and morning. Worth every penny, could not recommend more. If you want to guarantee a great experience then make sure to request Havizd and Hendri!

Best experience I think … EVER!!! - What an incredible experience!! We were lucky enough to spot 10 orangutan as well as various other monkeys/gibbons. Our guides were excellent and provided us with the most incredible food the whole journey. It was a lot of fun and a lot of sweating so the cool stream/pool by the accommodation was beautiful. We played cards with our guides in the evening with which was a laugh and finishing up the tour with the tube ride was hilarious! All of this as well as the transfer from our hotel in Medan made the trip worth every penny. Make sure you bring a plastic bag to put your wet smelly stuff in (it rains a lot in the jungle) cause you don’t want your bag smelling! You can pay for laundry at the accommodation provided to you in Bukit Lawang😁😁

As Axel rose said WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE - An unforgettable adventure! We encountered a remarkable variety of wildlife, with the highlight being the incredible orangutans. The food and snacks were delicious, adding to the overall experience. Our guide was highly knowledgeable and expertly answered all our questions, enhancing our understanding of the surroundings. The campsite was comfortable and offered breathtaking views, making for a truly memorable stay.

10 out of 10! The best jungle trek - It's an incredible experience 10 out of 10! Apart from the beauty of jungles and animals you come across your way while trekking, the team is fantastic too. Njune (team leader) is a super host, he is there to help with anything you might need, or to answer any questions, regardless if it is aboutvtrekkingvit just staying in thr village. Team if tour guides are super professional, they know the jungle like their home and will take you exactly where you can see the best spots to observe orangutans.

Incredible trip - All was great, probably the best trip I have do. I have ask during the trekking to extend one more day and there was no problem. Izoen is a very cool guy, he will help you the best he can. You can even ask to do a trekking night in Bukit Lawang with Ipul (who knows perfectly the animals and is an amazing guy) in order to seen snakes, insects and nocturns animals.

Overnight Jungle trip - Fantastic jungle experience with family. Saw loads of wildlife orangutan, monkey, hornbill, snakes. We had 4 day/3 night with one night in the jungle. Excellent guides , Jonny & Henry safety , friendly. Always catering the experience to our desires. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process.

Fantastic fully organized jungle trekking with Seebukitlawang! - The full jungle experience was incredible, partly due to the well-organized trip with Seebukitlawang! 🐒 Everything is super organized. We were picked up on time by a private taxi from Medan to then go to the 🐘 Elephant Sanctuary. First we had a delicious lunch at a beautiful spot on a river, after which we could relax and take a dip in the river. Later we were given access to the place where the elephants were, to feed and wash them. We continued our journey to the town of Bukit Lawang, where the team was very helpful with our backpacks. We slept in an accommodation that did not belong to the Seebukitlawang organization, but they were still kind enough to bring our things. The next morning we started the Jungle Trekking and we could safely leave our other backpacks before we went into the jungle. After an hour of walking we saw the first Orangutans and we received a delicious snack. All kinds of fruit 🍍 , beautifully prepared by our experienced guides. We saw many orangutans, different types of monkeys, a snake, peacock, toucans and geckos. Finally we saw an Alpha male🦧, which is very difficult to find because they travel many kilometers per day. We saw him on the 2nd day. We slept 2 nights in the jungle 🌿with a thin mattress, pillow, blanket and mosquito net. In addition to the 2 guides with whom we played games, we had a private chef who prepared very tasty meals 🍴 for us, both for the evening and our lunch. We also received many snacks, fresh water, coffee or tea. They are very friendly and everything is super organized. Finally you go back to the town with rafts via the river, a very nice experience! Afterwards we were neatly taken back to Medan with a private 🚕 taxi. Highly recommended!✅

Room Environment Improvement - I cleaned the filter on the room register to ensure ventilation was good because it would be a long stay. I can now breathe in the fresh air perfectly.
