We will start our activity at 9:00 am. During this two-day trek, you go into the jungle, with great chances of seeing 8 species of monkeys that are hiding in the Gunung Leuser National Park: the Sumatran Orangutan, the Long Tail Macaques, the Pig Tail Macaques, the Thomas Leaf Monkeys, the Silver Leaf Monkeys but also the rarer to see White-handed Gibbons, Siamangs and Slow Loris and other animal up-close in their natural habitat, hike to a campsite by a river, then swim, eat dinner, playing some game in your campsite. On the second day after enjoying your breakfast in the jungle, you will go deeper into the jungle to explore more about our flora and fauna, you will even enjoy some fun traditional rafting back to Bukit Lawang with a wonderfull jugle view.

Wonderful Orangutan sumtera is the options get a wonderful and unforgettable experience in the jungle with a local compny. During this two-day trek, you will get a truly unforgettable jungle adventure with our local guides who are certified and professional English-speaking. You go deep into the National Park and will have many opportunities to see orangutans and other wildlife close to their natural habitat. You will stay overnight in a campsite near by river or waterfall in the Gunung Leuser National Park. On the last day, hike even deeper into the forest, the deeper parts of the rainforest you have a higher chance of spotting different species of birds as well like the great argus rhinoceros hornbill, etc., before tubing the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang.

If you stay in our acccomodation or would like to come there on your own before the trek, please wait in the restaurant at the riverside. Your guide will be there before 9 am, but we can also pick you up in Bukit Lawang in front of your accomodation.

unforgettable adventure - I had an amazing time during this jungle trekking tour. We saw a variety of apes (including the male orangutan!!) and monkeys, had epic views and ate amazing food. Sleeping in the middle of rainforest after some games and good stories is an unforgettable experience. The water rafting was another highlight at the end - so much fun!
Bim Bim, Suria, Riski, Rahim and Sukier were the best, so warm hearted, funny and knowledgeable.
Would definitely recommend for people who seek an adventure you'll not get anywhere else!

Incredible jungle experience! - We had a fantastic experience in the jungle! Our guides were very experienced. We saw several orangutans, many different monkeys, birds and other fauna.
The team made sure we were safe on the steep tracks. The food they provide during the trip is of an incredible level. We highly recommend!

Perfect Jungle Trek - My partner and l had a wonderful time during our jungle trek with Nang Nang and also making the reservations and plans from the UK with Geo.
Everything was super clear and expertly arranged and could not have been better, truly faultless. Geo helped even with things that were not part of the trek!
We could take our time to see many different animals and enjoy the nature. There were plenty if rest stops with delicious food and we felt very relaxed during the whole trek. Nang Nang was our guide and he provided laughter the whole way and definitely knows how to entertain!
The water taxi was a lovely way to end the trek and cool down. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend! - The guides and the whole experience was great. We got plenty of food which was really tasty.
Be aware tho, you should be in good shape to do the two day hike.

Marwan & Iman were exceptional, would recommend this tour to any family looking for an adventure. Both guides were also patient, during the trek.

Perfect jungle adventure - The tour was incredible, one of the greatest experiences of my life. Everything was taken care of, starting with the pick-up at the airport, which took place in the middle of the night despite the flight delay, to the return trip to the airport, where I was allowed to choose the time very flexibly. The tour itself was fantastic, we saw at least 12 orangutans, including the alpha male and mothers with their babies. We also saw a snake, a turtle, a peacock, Thomas Leaf monkeys, gibbons and geckos. The food and night in the jungle were fantastic. Also our guide Lilik was great, led us to great spots and gave us many interesting explanations. Couldn't have been better.

Jungle adventure - Very cool hike. We've seen a lot of monkeys. The guide, Kian, was super nice and fun and the tour was well organized. Food was always delicious. Geo took good care of us, too.

Super cool and unique experience!!! - I did the jungle trekking with three friends for two nights, and it was amazing!! We went with the IAN group, I highly recommend them, we had the best time and got amazing food. We saw so many cool animals, including orangutans, I will never forget this amazing adventure!

3 day Jungle trekking - We went on the jungle trekking with team Ian and it was the best experience! We saw Orang oetans and many other monkeys. The guides were so nice and funny, and we had our own cook. Everyday they prepared the best food on plates decorated with leaves and flowers. They made the experience ten times better and I would definitely recommend!
