- Malahat Skywalk - This impressive tower, standing 250 meters above the sea, offers a gentle slope that gradually leads to the top, providing breathtaking views of the Saanich Inlet, peninsula, and the Salish Sea. Visitors can enjoy watching birds flying around the tower and can descend via a 7-story slide or walk down the path to a canteen, coffee bar, and ice cream truck. The walk to the tower includes a skywalk among the beautiful Douglas firs and arbutus forest.
- Hatley Castle - Hatley Castle is a stunning and unique Victorian residence built by the Dunsmuir Family in the early 1900s. Designed to resemble a Scottish Castle, this impressive structure was featured in the X-Men movies as Xavier’s School for the Gifted and in the Deadpool movies, as well as many other Hollywood productions.
The property boasts a large garden, which visitors can explore, passing by the rose gardens, the native plant garden, and the Japanese Gardens, concluding with the Italian Gardens and completing the tour of the Hatley Castle grounds.

Begin the day with a visit to the Old Growth forest surrounding Goldstream Park. Stroll alongside one of Vancouver Island’s most significant salmon creeks. During the right season, you might even see the salmon in action! Goldstream also boasts an impressive waterfall nestled in a small canyon. Following this, continue up the stunning Malahat highway to the Skywalk. This tower, 250 meters above sea level, offers a gentle slope to guide you to the top, where you will be soaring among birds, overlooking the ocean and mountain peaks. A net at the top provides a lounging area, and some chairs and benches offer a perfect spot for a snack break. From there, you can either take the slide down to the bottom or walk back the way you came. The final stop will be a walk to the Historic Hatley Castle. This Victorian-era residence combines Scottish Tudor architecture with the Art Deco style popular at the time. The garden is a must-see, with its vibrant blooms and pagoda pond surrounded by old growth.
