A Step into Amish Life - What a beautiful area! Enjoyed seeing which homes were Amish and they were so interesting and lovely. Sarah Anne, our Amish host, was very welcoming and a good cook.

Yummy! - Moses our tour guide was excellent. Our host family “Susie “ provided a delicious lunch with lots of food. Her children served the dishes were adorable and well behaved. Then they showed us crafts made by the whole family that were available for purchase. We were able to explore her farm and and were able to ask may questions.

This is a MUST-see and a MUST-do! - My husband and I took this tour with our 12 year old grandson and all three of us greatly enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks to our van driver, Sandy, who shared some excellent information and dispelled any myths we may have had about Amish life before we boarded the van. Our meal with the hostess, S., was excellent. She surely went to great lengths to not only prepare a delicious and ample meal for us, but ensured we were comfortable in her home. This tour is excellent and a must-see if you truly want to be immersed in the Amish experience and walk away with an expanded appreciation of Amish life. A big shout-out to Mike, who was the best communicator that any tour company could hope to snag. He promptly answered all of my questions and correspondence beforehand.

Must do experience - The was a wonderful experience lead by Dave ( high school history teacher) who was very knowledgeable about the area and the Amish. Meeting at the visitors’ center was the perfect place to find out information about the area and find well priced items. The meal was delicious and the conversation was informative. The meal was all freshly prepared : meatloaf , whipped potatoes, corn, beets , carrot salad,, bread and jam and Whoopie pies. Definitely a must do!

A very special experience. - A special experience. A trip in a small van accompanied by a guide. In ons geval Moses. He could tell colorfully about the origin of the Amish. We drove to Emma's house where a delicious dinner was waiting for us. Everything homemade. Pure taste without an excess of spices, fat or sugars! More than enough! The children polite and helped with serving and clearing. Then we were allowed to look around the yard. A tip! Bring some dollars. Emma has delicious things, handicrafts and even a recipe book for sale. But a free gift is also welcome. After this trip we learned a lot about the Amish the way they live. It would be even better if people would sometimes stop during the trip to take pictures of the surroundings.

Just as advertised! - Dave was an excellent tour guide. Very informative about the Amish way of life. The host Sarah, made a delicious meal. Her home was very welcoming. She answered all of our questions and really made the experience enjoyable. We also got to play with some puppies that were born in a recent litter from the family dog. Would highly recommend this excursion!
