Esther Rai has a passion for cooking a variety of dishes. Since childhood, she has cherished spending time in the kitchen with her mother and sister, enjoying the entire cooking process. She finds great joy and happiness when others appreciate her culinary creations. Esther began her cooking class program during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide financial support for her family.
In her classes, she teaches how to prepare Dal Bhat, momo, and thukpa, and she also customizes the menu based on guest requests. Her goal is to offer an authentic Nepali kitchen experience and the full journey of preparing food in Nepal. She takes guests to the market to purchase all the necessary ingredients and encourages interaction with local people.
- Guests are taken to the local market before the cooking class begins, allowing them to experience the market and engage with locals.
- The location is uniquely situated just a 5-minute walk from Patan Durbar Square, where guests can explore authentic Nepal.
- Cooking is Esther’s passion, and she loves sharing it with others.
