- Moraine Lake - Our tour begins at the stunning, glacial Moraine Lake where you will spend two hours watching the sun rise over the Valley of the Ten Peaks. We arrive 45 minutes before sunrise to beat the busses and ensure you get the most scenic views to watch the sun rise onto the peaks. Your knowledgeable guide will direct you to the best photo places & hiking spots while making sure you are kept cozy and comfortable with complimentary hot drinks, homemade snacks, blankets, umbrellas and headlamps. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the area while remaining nearby should you have any questions, need to warm up or want to take a break. - Lake Louise - The next stop on our tour is the world famous Lake Louise, where you will have another two hours to explore, hike, canoe or visit the famous Fairmont Lake Louise. Your guide will walk you through the history of the lake and what makes it so special for both locals and visitors. Lake Louise is the most photographed lake in the world for a reason!

Our tours are owner operated, meaning the owners are also the guides out there on tour with you! Each guide is a long-time local, bringing a wealth of knowledge and insider tips. Our tours strive to provide an all inclusive experience: seamless pick-up and drop-off, hot drinks to enjoy while watching the sunrise, homemade baked goods made by your guides, blankets and umbrellas for comfort & a maximum of 12 guests to ensure everyone has space. We love and respect Banff National Park and we use our tours as an opportunity to teach visitors about the parks’ history and ways we can continue to protect it while enjoying it’s beauty for many more years. Ask us any questions and we will do our best to answer! By traveling with us, you’ll be let in on some tips and tricks that can’t be learned through google or conventional shuttles. It’s not just a tour, it’s an adventure.

Can’t recommend this amazing and intimate tour group enough! - The sunrise tour with Banff Alpenglow Adventures is a must do! Kayla and her team have managed to make a very popular adventure all that more special through their intimate tour. It’s perfect for people travelling alone or in a group! Kayla was very knowledgeable about the area and knew where the best spots for photos were to escape the crowds.
The additional touches of blankets, delish banana bread and hot drinks made the early morning wake up all that more easier. Can’t thank them enough for such a special day!

Just Wow........ - Totally worth the cost to get to Lake Louise & Moraine before the world shows up at the Lake Shore. Definitely made for a long day but was more than worth it. Our tour guide Brandon was awesome. We got picked up promptly from our AirBnB in Canmore and the day. The view was amazing and we had plenty of time at both Lakes. They had some vegan snacks and hot chocolate which was a nice addition. Learned some history and such during the trip too! Thanks Brandon and Banff Alpenglow for a great morning.

Recommend! - Definitely recommend utilizing Alpenglow for your adventures! Riley was a wonderful & super nice guide- he sent a msg confirming our reservation & meeting time the day before, showed up on time, clean & comfortable van, small group, great information & answered questions from guests about Banff and the surrounding towns. He had hot beverages, blankets, head lamps, and umbrellas for the guests. Also, the banana bread! Delicious! If scheduling an adventure, I can’t recommend Alpenglow enough for your needs :)

Fabulous Tour! - We did a sunrise tour with them overall it was a great experience. Riley was very pleasant to work, excellent communication, and tremendously helpful not just with the tour but with other things to do in Banff with us not able to travel to Jasper. The weather was cloudy so didn’t see the sunlight shining on the mountain but views were still fantastic. Highly recommend them!

Fabulous Sunrise Tour - My family and I enjoyed the tour very much! We were lucky of we were booked on the tour, essentially we had a private tour. The pick up was prompt and as it was the 3 of us we had more time to spend at the two lakes. Riley was an amazing tour guide, knowledge of the area and also had tips of where to spot wildlife...and we did see some!

Stress-free way to see Lake Moraine & Lake Louise! - We really enjoyed our Sunrise Adventure with Banff Alpenglow! From my very first enquiry with Kayla, I could tell this company would take care of all the details. We especially appreciated the door-to-door service, since we were staying in Canmore without a vehicle. The ride was comfortable, our guide Riley was knowledgeable, and that homemade banana bread??!! :-) Of course, Moraine Lake and Lake Louise were spectacular, and this hastle-free tour really made it special for us. Worth every penny. Thank you!

Amazing Sunset Tour of Moraine Lake - Our experience with Banff Alpenglow was amazing. Brandon was a great tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the sites he took us to. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a memorable experience in and around Banff!
