Additional Information

Lake Louise, known as the “Rocky Mountain Emerald Gem,” is icy and extraordinary. It is also the most popular photography location for photographers in North America. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise by the lakeside is like a beautiful mural, preserving the Victorian architectural style since the 18th century.

Moraine Lake located in the famous Ten Peaks, where the bottom of the lake is filled with mineral rich gravel. Surrounded by a jagged valley of ten peaks, it is exquisite and beautiful, like a precious jade. And this “national treasure” was also printed on Canadian 20 dollar bills in 1969 and 1979.

Lake Louise and Moraine Lake Twin Lakes Tour - I didn't expect that today was the first day that tourists were allowed to enter Moraine Lake. There was still a lot of snow on the road. I saw a different Moraine Lake, like Frozen. The lake water had not completely melted yet, and I experienced a different beauty. I remember that the last time I drove in by myself was about 5 years ago. This time I followed the tour bus. The experience was good. The Mercedes-Benz car picked me up. The only thing was that there were too many people in Lake Louise. It felt like the entire parking lot was full of people. I would like to remind everyone not to park their cars in the Lake Louise village. It is recommended to park in the parking lot of the ski resort, otherwise you may get a ticket!

Moraine Lake and Lake Louise Tour - Although the parking fee at Lake Louise has increased, there are still many people. The ice and snow have melted, so the glaciers can be seen clearly. The cruise price is 165 for one hour and 155 for half an hour. There are still many people queuing up, which is really amazing. Moraine Lake has just opened, and I knew in advance that private cars are not allowed to enter. So I booked a short tour of the two lakes. Half of the lake water has not melted yet, and the weather is not good, but occasionally the sun shines through, which is very surrounding. The blend of ice and water in Moraine Lake still has a very unique flavor. It is said that summer is the most beautiful. I look forward to coming again next time!
